It used to one of my best restaurant. Now, quality of food is below average. Food was burnt, Lamb Kebab was all fat. Spicy Eggplant was cooked with Sweet and Chilly sauce. All the food we ordered were tasteless. It was absolutely waste of Money and ruined our New Year dinner.
The food is great particularly the hot and sour fish soup with pickled vegetables and the chef's special double cooked sweet and sour pork. The lamb and pork belly barbecue is also good.
Portion size was good and everything tasty! However a little on the salty side. The pork and eggplant dishes was my favourite, crispy juicy sweet & sour
Pleasant experience! Despite the owners ability to speak English his effort to communicate was great to see. His kindness spoke more and the Meals had Great portion and taste in all the items we ordered. Couldn't finish all of it! Thank you
I love this place! Nice people, amazing food and very casual. All the food is delicious and their wonton noodle soup is the best one I’ve ever had. We always remark on how balanced and tasty everything is. The best Chinese food in Christchurch and maybe New Zealand. Also, delicious Chinese beer and tea ! You can’t go wrong here.
Real authentic Chinese barbecue, our chicken skins and pork feet were a little overcooked for our liking, but everything else was great. The price is good too. We would have enjoyed it better if the place was tidier and their karaoke system was more up to date.

Grilled BBQ variety meat and seafood on stick is fabulous. They are cheap and you can try so many different kinds. You can choose how spicy for each individual stick. We also ordered a combination noodle for our little one, which he loves and had a lot. Attentive staff super friendly with kids, the manager in particular is very kind and told us not to worry about the mess our little one left behind when we were cleaning up. They have 10 high chairs with no tray table. There's also a kids play area that's fenced and with assorted toys, although not the cleanest. They also offer door to door delivery through give me bread within certain distance. Everything was fine until we saw one waiter pinched some noodles off a plate in the kitchen through the curtain. We don't know if they were going to serve that to another table or that's a left over from previous diners. Regardless, it sure didn't impress us and hence the rating.
