   I ordered a cold tofu skin salad, but it was served hot. When I asked about it, the young male waiter was noticeably impatient and told me the only way to make it “cold” was to rinse it with tap water. That response alone was quite unprofessional. The other dishes were also just average at best. Overall, the experience and food quality were really disappointing, and I don’t think I’ll be returning.

   Went here a few times and still my favourite. Its abit far from my place but i guess the food is worth for me to travel here. The taste is just nice. I usually order extra spicy. I got to try new dish of brown sugar with fried cake and its nice. Would like to try their caramelised kumara the next time. They played very nice music too. Love the vibe. Only 1 thing is the fish which i try for the first time is abit over grilled/fried so its abit dry. Other than that everything is excellent.

   Ambience of the restaurant is cosy, clean and nice music. BBQ food is fantastic! We saw the google review is so so but we still give it a try and no regrets. The only regret we have is we never know this place earlier. We only ordered the BBQ dish so cant comment much about the hot pot. The taste, saltiness and spiciness is on point even for the regular spicy. Will definitely go back again and order extra spicy next. What i like the most is the tender beef kebab, chicken wing, tofu fishcake and charcoaled eggplant. Would love to try their 辣子鸡 too as tried others' and not quite what i expected.Waiter is very attentive and polite. Price is okay reasonable. Would love to try their hotpot if they have tomato soup base next time.

   The price is not worth for the food we order! Especially COST $2 for tofu kebab, however the food presented in front of me was ONLY 3 super super super thin tofu skin! As thin as the “BUDGETS toilet paper”(can see through everything)! I bet this restaurant going be closedown in the future! Because it’s so Unbelievable disappointed on the food quality for the price! Whoever going there for KEBAB or CHINESE BBQ be prepared disappointed on the food quality! Highly NOT recommend people going this restaurant! THE Worse Less food quality in Christchurch! !!!!! THE Worse Less food quality in Christchurch! THE Worse Less food quality in Christchurch! Never going back there again! Waste your money!

   Food is overall tasty and served at a timely manner, felt a bit salty towards full though. A surcharge applied to our bill, which is fair on a public holiday. We were offered a free “karaoke” session, which is unexpected awesome! The impression I had from the owner is, honest, caring and warm-hearted. Taste of food, along with the way it was cooked, can be subjective from person to person, please don’t be too mean and tough on them. They’ve improved a lot since moved to the new “home-feeling” premises.
