“The food here was so delicious I had to come back twice during my stay in Christchurch. I ordered the Grill Beef on Rice, along with a Chicken Teriyaki Bun (50 cents of the sales of the buns goes to the Arts Centre). I left feeling nice and full. Give this place a visit if you're the mood for some good Asian food at a good price.”

“Came here tonight, have been before but not recently. Service was fantastic, the waitress was very helpful and attentive. I have an egg allergy and they were very accommodating and helpful. Food was fantastic, we got 2 starters and 3 mains between us (3) and they were all very tasty. Atmosphere was nice, pretty quiet with it being a Tuesday. Highly recommend you come here and we will be back.”
“11/10 dim sum spot. Everything was delicious and fresh. Quick, polite service. Weekends have fresh baked pork and custard buns. Very reasonably priced. Menu has pictures and color coded pricing for each set of items ranging from $5.90 to $9.90 with the odd higher priced dish like the Peking duck. Wish I had more room to try more things. We will definitely be back.”
“Food that worth waiting for. Reasonable price. Good food. Great chef.”

“First time had lunch with my wife today. Many interesting dishes on the lunch menu. My wife ordered the Fuji special dumpling set menu $22. It cames with small plates of pickle, bokchoi, fruit, vinegar and chili sauce. The dumplings were reasonable size full of meat and tasty. I ordered the HK style soya chicken leg$15.99 also cames with little plates of pickles, bokchoi, fruit and a small bowl of seaweed soup and rice. I have to asked the friendly waitress to have the chicken leg chopped up as it cames out whole. We enjoyed our meals and the friendly services of the waitress. “My wife and I are visiting New Zealand from the States on our honeymoon and chose this place for dinner following recommendations we found on Reddit. We ordered the “Trust the Chef” prix fixe option with some mocktails and were absolutely floored by how good it was. We ended up with eight courses: prawn toast, pork wonton, mouthwatering chicken, a xiaolongbao and shumai each, crispy roasted duck in curry, stir fried oyster mushrooms, green beans in XO sauce and tiramisu for dessert. Every course was absolutely delicious, and I particularly loved the prawn toast and the roast duck. The portion sizes were also massive- we ended up with two takeaway boxes and could probably have saved more if we paced ourselves properly. Midnight Shanghai showed us a spectacular meal and I hope to visit them again someday!”
“Really good portion and tasty food, good portion to price”

“Not being from Christchurch we wanted some Chinese and found this place which we decided to try. Would come back so highly recommend.”
