“This is mine and my best friend’s absolute favourite restaurant. Not only is the food incredible (we have never had a bad meal), but the service is unmatched (especially Brad). We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve been here, but by our third visit they already remembered our drink orders and that we want a chicken liver parfait while we decide what we order. Everybody is made to feel at home here and the service is amended to the person you are. Make sure you save room for a pavlova at the end as it’s the most delicious desert you will ever have in your life. CIBO CIBO CIBO”
“Found this place hidden away on my lunch break. Got the loaded fries they were so fresh and yum. The menu looked so good will deffo come back to try the burgers when I can. Also staff were super polite and friendly which is a massive bonus :)”
“A palate experience! Had such a fantastic time at Nanam in Takapuna! The food is absolutely delicious—every dish feels creative but still comforting. The wagyu longganisa was a standout, packed with flavor, and the beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth good. The vibe is modern and welcoming, perfect for a night out with family or friends. The staff were so warm and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for something a little different, with bold flavors and a fun atmosphere, I can’t recommend Nanam enough. We’ll definitely be coming back!”
“My partner went to this shop to pick up sandwiches for our holiday brunch, and it turned out to be such a unique place. It reminded me of my previous trip to Japan, with its cute interior design and cozy atmosphere bringing back fond memories. We ordered a Pork Katsu sandwich and a Daishi Eggplant and Mushroom sandwich. The katsu was impressively large and, although it cost around $15, the size was more than satisfying. It tasted great too. The eggplant sandwich was also delicious. I never imagined eggplant would pair so well with sandwich bread, but it was a fantastic idea. This place truly stands out, and I highly recommend it.”
“Authentic, flavourful, modern style Indian that hits the spot. The favourites are perfect (butter chicken, lamb Rogan Josh, garlic naan) but I’d also push the boat out and add the vegetarian mains and yummy sides to broaden your experience.”
“Red Earth Bistro has such wonderful choices of food to choose from on their menu. All staff are friendly and courteous. Makes your time at the restaurant feel so relaxing and enjoyable. We always look forward to returning again for another night out with friends or family. Thank you all so much.”
“We ordered deep-fried spring rolls, bánh xèo, and pho. We enjoyed everything. Especially, the soup of the pho was great. We are happy to visit again❤️”
“Food brilliant, service exceptional, servings generous! Especially the pork belly. And when Mud made an appearance, topped off a wonderful birthday celebration! Thank you”
“We got some dumplings to eat at our hotel tonight, chicken cabbage, beef, pork and chives, chicken fried rice. Amazingly good. I highly recommend.”
“The best pizza hut in town!!!!! Kuljinder is the best guy and makes you feel soooooo welcome at his restaurant. If its not the taste of food, it’s his kindness and genuineness that brings people into his store.”
“Perfect and our fave go-to for sushi, beautiful food here, and by far the most affordable sushi in Auckland. The staff here are so inviting and respectful to their customers, always smiling saying hello and thank you. They also have the best prices in auckland 5 star always”
“Yummo! Ok so I love it when Indian fooderies use the thigh or leg meat for butter chicken instead of the breast (which seems dry even when coated in sauce). Thank you Spice Junction! Juicy chicken pieces, great portion size, awesome ratio of chicken to sauce. Naan was on point and the Chicken 65 was satisfyingly spicy! Will definitely Uber order again!”
“We randomly found this Sri Lankan food service and we loved the taste of the pork lump rice. Me and my husband went there and picked up the order by our selves and they took like 20 mints to prepare it freshly. Food was really delicious and worth the money . Will definitely order again ♥️”
“We stumbled upon this place after waiting too late to go to a restaurant, and so glad we did because the food was awesome! So many vegan options! They had multiple vegan pizza options, and multiple kebab/iskender options too! I got a vegan chicken kebab with vegan aioli, it was bloody lovely! The staff were very nice too, absolutely recommend!”
“Had the 8pc combo special, plus the rice bowl with fried chicken and pork belly — everything was super satisfying! The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the pork belly was tender with great flavour. Portion sizes were generous, especially for the price. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving comfort food. Will be back for more!”
“Family enjoyed a yummy lunch here. Really nice atmosphere. Good service. Can't go wrong really. Will go back again”
“I ordered two BBQ plates after reading such enthusiastic reviews, and it was absolutely the right choice. The portions were incredibly generous and I had no trouble demolishimg my own serving which even came with two lamb chops instead of just one- a great bonus if you ask me. The staff were also exceptionally kind and welcoming, which truly topped off an already fantastic dining experience at Wicked Five Spoon Takeaways.”
“Where have I been living? Under rock? Because first time trying this place yesterday and oh my taste buds were flavourful!! 100% the best eat in/ dine out place in papakura”
“Had a wonderful Sunday brunch here, the staff were absolutely amazing so friendly and happy, was busy but the food wait wasn’t too long. Mocha was best I’ve had in a long time with a cute picture on the top!! Grabbed some Durban curry biltong and a few SA grocery items!!! Will be coming back to try their bunny chow!!!”
“First time trying a new Indian take out after significant price rises with usual restaurant made us explore other options. Chicken vindaloo, lamb korma and cheesy naan. All were delicious! Husband is a chef with a particular penchant for Indian food, and a tendency to be critical, but he loved it all and said this will definitely be our new regular takeout ☺️”
“I think this is the greatest Korean fried chicken in Auckland. The inside of the shop isn't the fanciest but the food is exceptional and great value. Fantastic family treat.”
“Well made juicy burgers especially the hamburgini that I got which had such a great toasted bun and well cooked and juicy meat. Also the burnout ( the chicken burger) was a great balance of meat and veges and it was pretty great overall . I would have preferred thicker chicken meat on the burnout but I still think it was fine. The service was good and this place has a great aesthetic and vibe”
“I was looking for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I don't normally try new restaurants as I'm scared of being disappointed. But I decided to take a chance on this spot and I don't regret it at all. I chose the pork belly on rice and it was beautiful. The pork was juicy. Just the right ratio of fat to meat. The cracking crispy and seasoned to perfection. And the portion size was great for the price point. A little sticky sweet sauce on the side would have taken this meal from great to "God tier status". I'm definatley coming back.”
“Ordered the pad thai, sweet and sour chicken, duck curry, crispy pork & shrimp wontons, and the curry puffs. Portion size was huge and all the food tasted amazing. Was really nice that the duck curry doesn't have bones you have to pick out and the curry puffs were really out of this world. Definitely will be coming back to try more things off the menu”
“Super Delicious food, would rate it 11/10. The staff super friendly and we were taken care of very well rigjt from the moment we entered the Restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner of the restaurant Ritesh and then we got help by the assistant manager Latika who suggested some mouthwatering dishes. Would definitely recommend this place and would advise prior booking as this place is always super busy. Do have a look at the video attached of what we had on the day”
“Firstly, this is the nicest & cleanest roast shop I've ever been in! The man and woman serving were super friendly and welcoming. My partner got a pork roll, chicken thigh and crispy but soft on the inside potatoes which were a 10/10. I opted for a small chicken roast meal, and swapped extra veggies for less chicken - which they were more than happy to do! I almost regret it now because the chicken was DELICIOUS. Crispy, juicy and so flavorful. We will definitely be back in the near future.”
“Had one of the best Asian food experiences with my crew. the food was amazing. The 8hour smashed braised beef and the stir fried singaporean noodles were my favourite, even the wok charred cashew brocolli caught me off guard, that it made me enjoy veges more. Unfortunatley im not the type to always take photos of such great food, since im there to eat not post and eat, so rely on other reveiwers for that :) The prices are very fair and well worth the cost. The service from Ted and his employees were amazing and I can't wait to return with my family next time, to enjoy this experience once more.”
“Just had one of their chicken and cranberry burgers from their Manukau location. Thoroughly enjoyable. Enjoyed it more than the other well known burger brand options. Great price and quality. Keep up the great work, I'll be back for more.”
“We have just tried our first takeaway pide from the Woodspirit food truck and it was delicious! The chef is engaging, the service is super quick and the serving is very generous with a side of whole chilli peppers. Very reasonably priced and beautifully packed for easy transportation.”
The kitchen at Water Drop Vegetarian Cafe takes a pan‑Asian comfort path and lets the food speak. Portions are generous yet well judged. Meat‑free options are woven into the menu. The team keeps things friendly and organised.
