   Good pub overall but it’s gets busy and you can wait a fair bit for a drink. It’s also extremely stuffy inside and if it’s a warm day it feels like you are sitting in a greenhouse if you go to the back - It would be really great if they invested in some fans or ventilation for that area as it was actually so hot and uncomfortable we chose to leave and go elsewhere after one round. Overall though it’s a nice pub and they do good pizzas and also cheap ! Just make sure it’s not a hot day and you will be fine.

   A fantastic spot to unwind! The staff are incredibly friendly, the music sets the perfect mood, and there’s something for everyone—whether you want to share a table, play pool, or enjoy the charming terrace. The food is absolutely delicious, and the drinks are great. A must-visit for a great time with friends!

   It was the $6 Beer of the week that got me up here. The other pints are not bad, and inexpensive relatively. In the warmer months they had live bands, but there's a digital jukebox somewhere that plays songs/videos from way back not too loudly. So can have nice conversations whilst having drinks and food here. Did not try the food cuz was full from somewhere else, but do see plenty of pizza orders around. Has a great view of the skyline if you know where to look. Pool table is $2 each game but the table has seen it's days so don't take it too seriously. I was treated kindly by Ben. He picked up on my accent and we had a great conversation. Wishing him well on his adventures. Will always make time for it when I pop into Auckland.

   Mr. Murdochs is one of my favorite pubs in Auckland. I used to go every week, sometimes even twice. Great selection of beers and cocktails. It’s a fantastic place to go with your friends and enjoy good music in a great atmosphere. Occasionally, there’s live music. If you’re hungry, their menu is fantastic—much better than you’d expect from a pub. They have pool tables if you feel like playing a game. Friendly staff. Now that I’m no longer in Auckland, I miss the great times I had there…

   I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience I had at your bar last weekend. I must also address a minor misunderstanding that occurred during my visit. I sincerely appreciate the vibrant atmosphere of your establishment, and the delightful drinks I enjoyed truly made my evening. However, there was a slight miscommunication on my part when placing my order. I accidentally ordered three servings of snacks, which I failed to convey clearly. I would like to extend my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. I am extremely grateful for the exceptional service provided by the bartender on duty that day. She handled the situation with utmost professionalism and kindness. Understanding my mistake, she promptly helped me rectify the order by adjusting the quantity of snacks. her attentive and considerate demeanor truly stood out, making my visit to your bar memorable for all the right reasons. Once again, I am sorry for any trouble my order confusion might have caused. Please extend my appreciation to the bartender who handled the situation so gracefully. I left your bar with a positive impression and a desire to return soon. Thank you for maintaining such high standards of service and hospitality.    The ground floor was unassuming...when you enter the doorway, you'll see a stairway, artfully lit and decorated... automatically "stairway to heaven" played in my mind...cool and chic inner decor...especially the entrance to the loo and the band stage! I make my way to the main outdoor gathering garden...raw and tastefully decorated..with a skyline surrounded by the corporate office buildings.

   Great vibe with super friendly staff and food was delicious. Didn't realise the express lunch menu was the only food available for Sunday lunch though as there are a lot more vegetarian choicea on the main menu.

   I came here for lunch on a weekend. It wasn't too busy but I really liked the different areas they have set up here. We had to stay indoors though, because the weather wasn't great. The food was delicious. The cheeseburger I had tasted homemade and the pizza was awesome. They have some great lunch specials. We also had a turn on the pool table while we were waiting for the food.
