   The boss is super nice and a thumbs up to the Korean waiter ! Sorry forgot her name. But she’s fantastic! The t bone steak was so sooooooo nice ! Perfect. A great place. Was so busy that night. A real gem. 11/10 ! And I loved the way the two last waiters came out and sang happy birthday with hats on. What a treat to the customers.

   We ordered combos Chicken + Calamari and Steak + Ribs plus Sirloin Steak. The sirloin was meant to be medium rare but came a bit overcooked and tough. The Smokey BBQ chicken was just okay,I’d recommend the peri-peri instead. Surprisingly, the garlic bread was the highlight. crispy outside, soft and buttery inside. Easily the best I’ve had! The place was packed, so we sat at the back, which felt a bit cold and less comfortable, especially in winter.

   Delightful! Memorable, and worth going back again and again! The staff here are so nice, so humane, friendly and caring. Food is absolutely remarkable; their sauces are so unique and really mouth-watering. My go-to is the wings & chips with the nice & spicy sauce (it plays so nicely with the blue cheese dip that comes with it). Top hidden jewel in NZ.

   Really nice South African themed restaurant. Chicken livers are really good and so is the calamari. The batter on it stays on and cooked very nicely. The steak is great and the grilled onions make it much better. Wish more steakhouse would do that. Staff would bring out coloring papers and crayons for the kids and that’s really nice of them.

   The place is so lively and food is great! Large portions and very tasty.. The staff if also very accommodating and service is smooth though we had to wait a little longer due to 2 big groups ahead of us. Nonetheless, it was a great experience.

   We dined in, on Wed night, as it was our 38th wedding anniversary. The food was yummy…hubby had the ribs and chicken combo and I had the peri peri chicken livers. I would’ve loved the livers to be more chunky… not as fine as they were. But the taste was good. The ribs and chicken were cooked to perfection. The Malva pudding was just as yummy. Our server, Violet, was wonderful! She was friendly, professional and it looked like she enjoyed what she was doing. Which is important. The atmosphere picked up, once more people arrived. We had an early dinner at around 6pm. Overall, the vibe was good.

   Easily the best steakhouse in Auckland for us! Always our top choice to bring our family or friend from overseas as the food is amazing and variety of menu options can cater to most dietary preferences. We usually celebrate special occasions here, lovely ambience but not too intimidating for people like us who do not really fancy fine dining restaurants. The staffs are always pleasant and accommodating. My all time favourites are their scotch fillet steak (medium well done right & flavorful!) and calamari. Appreciate it that they allowed me to keep a small cake in their fridge and when I requested it back after dinner, they asked if we’re celebrating a birthday, prepped the cake with some candles & sang us a happy birthday! Thank you always guys, keep up your fantastic food and service. You are amazing! See you again soon :)

   My boyfriend and I went there last night for his birthday and it was absolutely the best decision we made! The food was amazing, the pork rib was more than perfect! The ultimate onion was also a must try. The staff were really nice n friendly, the vibe was comfortable, we enjoyed every minute there. Already recommended this place to everyone we know after we left. Will go back for sure!
