It maybe a bit overrated. Not really a lot of wow element in the taste, presentation is good. Chicken is too dry in my personal opinion. It is not meeting my expectations for an Italian restaurant, and do note it requires booking and hard to walk in. The location of the restaurant is good.
Pros: The restaurant has delicious food and a good atmosphere. Cons: The service was disappointing. Our waiter encouraged our party of three to over-order, despite us asking for advice on portion sizes. We ended up wasting an entire dish because he insisted the amount was fine. This felt like a dishonest upsell and soured our overall experience. I would have appreciated more honest guidance
I had been looking for a good pappardelle since Brisbane and found this restaurant when searching. The restaurant seems to be a popular place for brunch with seating outside as well as their cozy indoor seating. I found the pappardelle a bit thick for my taste but the lamb ragu was very good and plentiful.
From the moment we stepped through the doors we were warmly welcomed! The customer service is exceptional. Food was excellent. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely return!!!
Really delicious food and great service. Also love the interior, feels warm and such a relaxing vibe. Highly recommend the Cacio e Pepe! It was delish!
Recommend by one of the colleague and went there yesterday. Had a seasonal grilled fish dish. The fish was cooked to perfection and the skin was crisp. Taste of the produce were pretty good. Went back today and had gnocchi. The consistency and the sauce is sensational. The chap who was serving yesterday was friendly and fantastic and made a pretty good Pinot Gris suggestion. The lady who served today and was also supervising the team was also warm and friendly.
Ortolana is our new favorite place. Their dishes are no old school. New ideas. New flavor profiles. Refreshing in taste and enjoyment. Love it.
Came in for breakfast- it’s a very cute restaurant. We were able to walk in and get seating for 2. They are able to accommodate to gluten free diets. Delicious!
Service was great, recommend to book beforehand. The lamb was tender and ricotta surprisingly complement the broccoli really well. Would love to dine here again.
Just lovely all around. The food was full of flavour - I had the potatoes and warehou fish with fried egg and salsa verde. The coffee was smooth and creamy. Recommended!
