“Proper sichuan restaurant in Auckland! The decor of this restaurant was quite the highlight. Felt fun and cheeky. Ordered mapo tofu, tomato eggs, cumin beef and pickled fried rice. All dishes were outstanding. The beef was tender,fresh and succulent. Mapo tofu was another highlight. Would highly recommend.”

They are always so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, the presentation is beautiful, and you can really feel the love they put into their food . “Very expensive for a takeaway shop - but the food lives up to the price. The portions are reasonably sized. We had Singapore noodle with prawns, and a Thai Green Curry. Both were simply delicious. Though I tried not to, I devoured that curry in a single night. The meat was tender. The vegetables well balanced. And the broth. Oh the broth. It was watery, but so jam packed with flavour that my eyebrows nearly sizzled off. If you have more than a dollar or two to spare, go here. It's the store on Great South Road that kinda looks like it sells either vacuum cleaners or PC parts with it's odd, green aesthetic.”

“The best place for rice noodle soup. The portion is so huge even for big eater like me. If you re not too hungry, order 1 and share for 2 px. But if you re really hungry then you will be happy man..very generous w the meat and toppings. The chili station is superb with mala oil inclusive. Best value and worth drive from city to Albany just for a bowl of the either soup or dry noodle w tofu and pork belly. Wont disappoint .”

Coming from the Waikato we have some mean places run by locals, so when we found this place, we drive all the way from Papatoetoe to come here in peak traffic lol This place is up there. “I love this Chinese takeout for their hot chips. Are always golden crispy and well drained. In my opinion they do the best chips out of our three local Chinese takeaway because of the golden crispy crunch the chips have. Smaller portioned but best quality. I also tried their spicy sliced pork belly on white rice with vegetables as it was a recommended dish under reviews on their website. Have tried the same dish at Mt Albert & Mt Eden. They do not compare to this place and the way they do it. My favourite dish is the Chicken Rice Noodles dish. It’s so satisfying as a comfort food. And the servings sizes of these two dishes are worth the price. The owners are friendly. I hope they will stay open for as long as I am here. The others just don’t seem to compare.”
