    A great little spot for dinner. The menu is accommodating, with something for all tastes. Great wood fired pizza, slow cooked Ragu, braised beef, fresh and delicious crudo, pasta specials, and a decent wine list. Staff are engaging hosts, attentive but not overbearing, knowledgeable and confident. It was a little hustling with our table of 10, though good for a romantic 2 or a casual 4. Highly recommended. Will revisit soon.

    Among all the restaurants I’ve visited recently, this one was definitely the most satisfying. The burrata was an amazing start to the meal β€” fresh and full of flavor. The Bucatini Carbonara was absolutely 100% delicious, and the pizza was also great. Bouillabaisse; it was my first time trying it, and I enjoyed. The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful, and all the guests seemed truly happy and relaxed. Everything about the evening was lovely. If I may add one small suggestion, the waitress who greeted us at the entrance could have been a bit warmer β€” that first impression really sets the tone when guests arrive. The only minor disappointment was the bread, which was slightly more toasted than I prefer. But other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful meal β€” it was my wife’s birthday, and our whole family had such a joyful and memorable time together.

    Food was good but the service seriously lacked. We arrived to the restaurant which only had one table, yet we stood there for minutes without being greeted. The girl wasn’t warm or welcoming and immediately asked us if we were from First Table and told us to take a seat. Upon greeting us at the table she said, β€œDo you know the rules or should I tell them to you?” no specials, no talking us through the menu, such poor hospitality. My partner’s beer was a bit flat. They took it away, brought it back, and kept repeating that it was from the same tap and that he could watch them pour it if he wanted. Obviously it’s from the same tap, the issue is the keg will be nearly empty or there’ll be an issue with the line or gas, I’d have thought that was common sense. I just ended up drinking it to avoid the fuss. It’s a real shame because we came here earlier in the year and the service was exceptional. Since then, we’ve recommended the restaurant to a huge amount of people. We won’t be doing that again nor returning. If you don’t want guests from First Table, I’d suggest you remove yourself and keep the restaurant empty, treating us as second-class guests will only damage your reputation. I’ve spent years working as a section waitress in two of the highest-rated restaurants in Britomart and am now working in the legal sector in the CBD, rest assured I’ll be sharing my experience with people who could have been potential customers.

    Delicious food. Food took a long time to come out - but when it did, it was delicious. Unique flavors, Devine. The only thing they can improve is speeding up food coming out.

    Such a nice place , loved the pasta i had along with the bread . Our waiter he was so very accomodating , very kind and professional, It was busy at the time and he was definitely top man . Very happy with him and the food thank you .

    A most enjoyable evening. The food was superb and an excellent wine list. Staff were outstanding. A little bit noisy which made conversation challenging and no whiskey on the drinks list. Other than that our party of 8 experienced a great night out

    We ate here for the first time last night. A delightful experience all round. The staff were fantastic. Great atmosphere. I had the daily special of ravioli and a pizza. All I can say is that the ravioli should be added to the regular menu - it was outstanding. And the pizza was also excellent. I very rarely leave a review, but this was exceptional.

    Stopped in for lunch after walking around the marina. What a delight, amazing selection of wine and cocktails. Ordered the special that was on (ravioli) - one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had, it was so delicious and the mushroom sauce was next level. The pizzas were also ace, dough was perfect. Thanks for the recommendations also!

    After reading a NZ Herald review about this place, I was curious to try their cuisine. For the entrΓ©e, I got some wonderful olives, in different shapes and tastes. The hidden Italian bread inside was deliciously soaked in the bottom of the dish. Then it came the main dish, saltimbocca di pollo, chicken with egg plant, proschiuto, tomatoes, and olives. Wonderful presentation and incredible taste. It deserves to be the best dish of the house. It all went quite well with a white wine recommended by Buki. Awesome service, great people. Thank you for having me.
