Excellent food as usual! Still top notch takeaways. Fresh, quality ingredients at good prices. It's also great that you can order half sizes of dishes to enjoy more variety.
Fritters were obviously reheated, they tasted like stiff warm cardboard. As for the chips, they were warmish, soggy, obviously reheated aswell and terrible. I only ordered hot chips and fritters, how do you stuff that up? Also delivery by the driver was quick. I live close by so I know for a fact the food should've been hotter, especially for how long I waited for the restaurant to make it. Disgusting, throwing in the bin. Will never order from here again. Pathetic, do better

Very expensive for a takeaway shop - but the food lives up to the price. The portions are reasonably sized. We had Singapore noodle with prawns, and a Thai Green Curry. Both were simply delicious. Though I tried not to, I devoured that curry in a single night. The meat was tender. The vegetables well balanced. And the broth. Oh the broth. It was watery, but so jam packed with flavour that my eyebrows nearly sizzled off. If you have more than a dollar or two to spare, go here. It's the store on Great South Road that kinda looks like it sells either vacuum cleaners or PC parts with it's odd, green aesthetic.
The sweet and sour pork I ordered through Uber Eats was horrible. The method Bamboo Kitchen provides it in does'nt work. The separate sauce is barely enough to cover a few pieces of pork, the pork itself is super dry from not being cooked in the sauce and the sauce smelt like chemicals. No other Chinese food provider does a takeaway sweet and sour like this. It doesn't work.
