“I decided to try The Cut and found their lunch special. The staff was very accommodating with my preferences and allergies, I'm pretty sure the chef checked on me. I told him it was nice to get a cheeseburger with crispy bacon and while the burger was messy it as very good. I also enjoyed the side salad of spinach, cabbage and cucumber that was very good and crunchy. I didn't want potatoes usually served along side and it was a good decision. I was only able to eat half my burger before I had to leave because of my allergies. I enjoyed the other half a couple hours later after it had set and wasn't so messy and the remainder of the burger for dinner. I really enjoyed this burger and can leave Auckland sastified.”

“I went to this restaurant for my birthday dinner with my partner, and from the very beginning, everything was full of beautiful details. Ayush, the manager, made sure we had the perfect table, and the staff members were absolutely adorable. Muni and Rohan checked on us throughout the night to make sure everything was perfect. We chose the eye fillet as our main, and it was absolutely delicious — cooked to perfection and a very generous portion. The food was just as impressive as the service. The final touch — the team surprising me by singing and bringing a small cake with ice cream — was the cherry on top of an unforgettable birthday dinner. I truly want to congratulate Ayush and the entire team for the exceptional service they are providing to their customers. Muni and Rohan were outstanding, and their kindness made the night even more special. This place truly has everything you need for a fantastic experience. More than recommended!”

“We went there just yesterday for an early dinner as we had an early flight this morning. The lovely waitress pulled out our chairs, brought water to the table etc. We ordered a certain type of sandwich which they did not have available, but she got the kitchen to make up a club type toasted sandwich instead. It was amazing!! Wonderful service, nice quiet ambiance, very impressed ☺️☺️☺️”

“Great place for dinner! The atmosphere for this place is just right with the lighting going well with everything. The servers were friendly being knowledgeable with the dishes. The Beef Wellington tasted great, the meat itself was cooked perfectly with it melting in my mouth. The oven baked cauliflower was just amazing. The flavours definitely goes well together, having it inspired by Indian spices probably. The price was pretty respectable for the quality of the food, service and place.”

“When I first seen the size of the dishes I said: where do we go to have a pizza or else after as I'm famished. But was I disappointed....?! Yes in a good way. The last bites from the last dish I couldn't even eat it anymore.Each bite from each and every dish was not what it seemed to be....all was bursting of flavour. Your tongue gets super excited and buzzes....it is like a culinary orgasm...so you better wait at least half a minute before you take another bite. And prepare for surprises everything will taste differently than you expect to.And every little detail from plate to arrangement is very expertly chosen.And really you have to allow 2.5hrs for the full 7 dish menu....you can't rush it or you spoil it. So even if outside looks very simple and you would not expect for such a restaurant in that place prepare for Michelin macromolecular type of cuisine to delight you. Well done to Kazuya and the whole team.”

“We had an incredible experience at HEIZO Teppanyaki. Starting with the friendly service of the owner, chef, and his wife, they provided quality products and great conversation. We were privileged to be the only ones in the restaurant, so we received personalized attention and were able to chat and learn more about the chef and the history of the restaurant. “Phenomenal meal at The Chefs Indian Restaurant last night. This is a true “hidden gem”, tucked away in Howick where you wouldn’t expect it. The food was very high quality - delicious entrees, mains and breads. The staff were friendly and kind and generous. The cost was very fair and great value for money. Vege curries were $17.90 and breads were $5-$6. Highly recommend!”

“I had an amazing experience dining at Sidart with my partner. The waiter and waitress were attentive and the food was served at a very good pace - not left too long between the courses. The food itself was absolutely delicious, one of my favourite out of all the degustation meals I’ve had. The flavour combination was unique and finely balanced, and the amount of food did not left me too hungry or too full by the end of the night. Would highly recommend this restaurant to others and will be sure to come back soon :)”

“They offer good shisha, delicious food, and drinks. They both have indoor and outdoor dining. The shisha is outdoors with heater and they provide blankets if you wish to have one. The place gets really busy no matter which day - that’s how good they are. The food I enjoy the most is their cheesy mayo fries. It’s crispy and the amount of cheese and mayo is not too overwhelming. I also enjoy their Iraqi tea. I never would have thought I’d enjoy a cardamom taste on my tea. It soothes my throat and warms me on winter nights. Their shisha is 50/50 and I guess it depends on who makes it. But it is definitely a place to catch up with friends over food and shisha. Especially when you’re stressed and just want to relax. The staff are very lovely. They try their best to be attentive to everyone, even when busy. They always greet us with a smile. The owner is such a lovely lady and will welcome you like a family. They do have a good selection of meals and desserts. They also have RTDs, beer, cocktails, mocktails, etc. Suitable for all group size. I highly recommend.”

“Easily the best kebab I’ve had in a fair good while. Absolutely perfect. Great prices for an AWESOME kebab. I’m not quite sure what kind of seasoning you guys do for your chips (chicken salt??), but holy damn they were so on point. Perfect amount of seasoning and perfectly crispy, Chips really can make or break a meat on chips. Chicken was beautiful, again the seasoning was incredible. Fresh salad and yummy sauces. Good amount of extra cheese. I will be coming back as much as possible. Thank you for a great after work meal”

“This restaurant is a hidden gem in Auckland if you want authentic Indian food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Chitali and Nikunj were great, and the setting had a very ethnic feel to it. The highlight and best part were the Australian Eggs Fried and Pani Puri. would like to go back. strongly advised.”

“We were sitting in the restaurant trying to remember a similar dining experience. We went through all the Sydney fine dining you would expect, extended out to NSW, across Australia and there ended up being only 2 experiences we felt were equivalent. L'en-clume a 3 Michelin star pop up in Sydney in 2023, from the UK that we were lucky enough to experience when they were in Sydney. L'en-clume are coming back to Sydney! we are hoping to get tickets and go again! - we actually still have the Kale plant they gave us as a gift when we left the restaurant, growing in our garden! The second equivalent experience would be Hentley Farm Restaurant The food ate The Grove is superb, truly experimental, truly interesting, but with a keen eye for flavor and the experience of dining. The Horse Mussel and Wasabi, Wasabi were both stand outs, but anything on the menu would stand up in any kitchen in the world. The wine pairing was superb with the palate of @andreamartinisi intertwining and layering the experience of the wine with the food. Service, impeccable. Get in quick, the owners are calling it a day after 20 years and close in late March 2025.”

“We found this amazing place, one of our favorite Korean food is Gamja-tang. Their Gamja-tang is worth every bite and money we paid for. Kudos to the owner, he is very kind, friendly and all the staff are very attentive, checking customer's need. We are so glad and happy customers, we could not stop talking about this hidden jem!!! Great experience, awesome traditional and authentic food, cherry on top, the service is genuine and more worthy than fine dine in. They try to explain the ingredients and dish specially for non-Korean. Will definitely come back here at FRIENDS, Highly recommended, this totally stood out among nearby korean resto around!!!”

“We dined here today. We started with appetizers which were nice. But the highlight fir me was my main which was fish catch of the day snapper. It was superb. The others had Surf and turf which they said was ok and another had the lamb cutlets which she enjoyed. Meals came out quickly. Service was splendid. We had a lovely dinner here.”
