   Good atmosphere, solid food and service Atmosphere: The restaurant has a nice interior. The bar area, connects to the restaurant, is beautiful well designed and you can order food! I recommend the dinning in the bar area if you’re also having drinks. Food: No issues with the food, it did the job -Silver Fern Scotch 3/5 (see picture) -Fish and Chips 3/5 (see picture) -Crème Brûlée 3/5 (see picture) Service: - We sat down at 8pm (restaurant closes at 10pm). The picture attached is their normal menu but we were given a smaller condensed menu with limited items, they probably ran low on their supplies. - Service: they were nice, even the manager was helping take orders. But we did have to flag down the servers a few times to get their attention. Overall it does the job.

   Same with some comments...don't really understand the negative reviews. I got to this restaurant because I was lost. I had seen it had terrible reviews and was planning on avoiding it for my Auckland stay. Anyway, I was too hungry to start looking for another place so ordered the Chef's special and it was to die for! Seasoning on point. Fish cooked to perfection. Vegetables perfectly tender. Will definitely visit again

   We went there just yesterday for an early dinner as we had an early flight this morning. The lovely waitress pulled out our chairs, brought water to the table etc. We ordered a certain type of sandwich which they did not have available, but she got the kitchen to make up a club type toasted sandwich instead. It was amazing!! Wonderful service, nice quiet ambiance, very impressed ☺️☺️☺️

   We had our last supper before flying back to Tokyo. Our expectations were actually low, but you can get proper kiwi cuisine here. It can get a little pricey, but overall if you’re looking for a place to eat around this area,I highly recommend it.

   Poor service, took ages to serve us, when dinner turned up we had no cutlery so when I asked for some they just grabbed some off a table that someone else had been seated at ( not used) my hubbie did not get the sauce he asked for and the waitress did not even know what the vegetables were. Food was just ok but over priced for what it was. Not that they even noticed our drinks were empty let alone ask if we wanted more, guess we would need to leave our table to get served like other customers had to. Don't bother going. Save your money.

   The food was nice but overly priced. Staff did not clear our tables before the next course came out. We had to request that someone clear the tables and had to ask for spoons to eat our desserts with. Above all a fairly nice place with friendly faces.
