   Amazing food, especially considering the amount of competition in the area. Would highly recommend, I believe the owner was working and gave my partner and I free yoghurt drink and a cream soda. Checked on us and made sure we were happy. Smalls things make the difference and this place really made the difference.

   Really enjoyed my meal at Friends Korean Restaurant. I love their ginseng chicken soup — rich and comforting — and the kimchi soup has a strong, delicious flavor. Both dishes are highly recommended. The fried chicken is also excellent: crispy on the outside and tender inside. The owner is very friendly and provides great, welcoming service. A wonderful place for Korean food!

   We found this amazing place, one of our favorite Korean food is Gamja-tang. Their Gamja-tang is worth every bite and money we paid for. Kudos to the owner, he is very kind, friendly and all the staff are very attentive, checking customer's need. We are so glad and happy customers, we could not stop talking about this hidden jem!!! Great experience, awesome traditional and authentic food, cherry on top, the service is genuine and more worthy than fine dine in. They try to explain the ingredients and dish specially for non-Korean. Will definitely come back here at FRIENDS, Highly recommended, this totally stood out among nearby korean resto around!!!

   First time here today after reading the reviews and it was delicious. Ordered the spicy pork and pork bone soup and both were super tasty and we demolished everything, the spicy pork was a good kick of spice. Staff were super friendly and the chef even brought out a bone broth soup and extra rice for my baby who loved it, how thoughtful! Great customer service giving us a free mango drink for baby on the way out. I'll be back for sure to try some other items on the menu. Also kimchi was yummmmmm!!

   Jimmy and the team at Friends are incredible! So friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic every single time. Can’t go passed the Pork Back Bone Hot Pot, Boneless Almond Chicken and the Pork Cutlet with Rice. I have lived in Korea and this place is by far the best we have been to in Auckland.    Friendly Korean restuarant in the Albany Area. Wait was a little long the day we went but the store was organised and took down your name and number and would call you as soon as a table was ready. Food came out fast and was tasty. Side dishes included a packet of seaweed which goes well with rice and soup. Staff service was good and the owner would give a can of soda to each table. Overall store was clean and tidy and plenty of parking and waiting space outside.
