   We absolutely loved our stay at The Moorings, Waiheke. From the moment we booked, the communication was exceptional – clear, prompt and warm. The hosts are incredible; nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely made us feel welcome. The location couldn’t be better: just a 2‑minute stroll from the ferry and an easy 10–15 minute walk into the village for cafes, restaurants and shops. Yet it still feels private and peaceful, with views that are simply breathtaking. The room itself was luxurious – beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed to make the most of those sweeping ocean views. Waking up to that outlook each morning was a highlight in itself. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend The Moorings to anyone visiting Waiheke – we can’t wait to come back!

   Fabulous spot and fabulous hosts that went above the norm. So handy to the ferry and a short walk to the township so no car was needed which was great! Loved the friendly dogs who welcomed us. The views were incredible.

   What a simply beautiful place to stay in Waiheke! The breath taking views .. WOW! We slept with the curtains open and watched the lights of the Auckland skyline .. so peaceful! Everything top notch! Beds, linen, bathroom and outdoor entertaining all 5 star! Will stay again and have recommended to family and friends already!

   ISLAND BLISS - Was very happy to return to the Moorings Waiheke after nearly a year, and the landscaping revamp has made it much easier to park, enter and leave the property. The interior renovations give it a cleaner, calming vibe to compliment the truly unbeatable view of the bay and Auckland. Definitely a must stay for Waiheke, will always be my #1 spot on the island for accommodation.

   Fortunate to have stayed on a number of occasions in the picture perfect studios. LOVE the comfy beds and waking to that view! The serenity is blissful as is the company of the hosts as we’ve all been made to feel extremely welcome. Ideal location to unwind, reset and let the world unfold. A return visitor to immerse in the quiet luxury of The Moorings with the nearby walks, vineyards, beaches - lots to explore and be enjoyed.

   This place is so great it's hard to describe. Amazing location, with a fantastic view of Auckland in the distance. Very calm, very quiet, and to wake up with that view in the mornings is just amazing. I would recommend this to any couple wanting a romantic and relaxing getaway. Plus, Waikehe island is a fantastic place in general, a minor tropical paradise. Don't miss renting a car and driving around the island to visit the wineries.
