Used to stay as a sports team. Perfect for what we needed. Big kitchen and common area. Bunk rooms are ideal for teams.

We recently held a conference onsite and loved the nature-based setting. The team was very accommodating, and the activities were a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend. Internet was tricky and I would advise not depending on reception or wifi on the day.

If you go down the steps and onto the pathway you will find a amazing miniature waterfall and if you come at night you will also find the glowworms just make sure you bring your torch

We held our brownie unit camp here in October last year and it was fantastic!!! Even to this day, our leaders and girls still rave about the accommodation and how great the activities were. The team at Kokako Lodge were great at accommodating our needs and were able to provide a lot of information regarding safety and detailed plans (which was important since our participants were young girls between 7 and 9 years old). There were plenty of activities to do around Kokako Lodge. The highlight for me was the glow worm walk behind the cabins- there's a quick 5-min track, suitable for all ages and it was amazing to see so many glow works in several areas throughout the track without having to go far!

Took our y6 Δkonga here for 2 nights and three days - staff were amazing in the lead up and also whilst we were there. Constant check ins, resourced everything and made sure we knew everything in order to be safe. The glow worms walk was a huuuuge highlight for the kids and having hunua falls so close was amazing. The instructors had great rapport with the kids and they encouraged them to try everything. Couldnβt recommend more, already booked for next year!! Thank you Kokako!!

Great place for a school camp, not much scenery at the camp but very close to lots of outdoor activities. Rooms are made of normal bunk beds with rubber mattresses, not as comfortable but it gets you through the night. Rooms have slight amounts of ventilation but plenty of windows. Lots of other activities around there aswell.

Rooms didn't have the best ventilation or any heating. But the kitchen services were great and good location.

The facilities needs to be updated. However facilities are fairly pleasing. Suits the needs for camping as schools or groups. A once in a lifetime experience. As well as a great nature background.

Staff are great, friendly and proffesional. Good facilities and variety of available activities. Basic, clean, serviceable cabins (with thin walls). Catering is generous and kitchen staff are wonderful.
