This place was our last stop on our four week trip to New Zealand and one of the best ones. Perfectly equipped with a very good eye for details, great breakfast, beautiful garden and very friendly host. If we are coming back to Auckland some time in the future, we will book the Parnell Garden Suite again.
Our accommodation was extremely comfortable and Susan’s attention to detail was second to none, there wasn’t one thing that left us wanting. Self serve continental breakfast was very well catered for and Susan’s kindness on our late arrival was very much appreciated.
We stayed here as our first stop in NZ. Susan made check-in easy, the room was super cute and the location was perfect! The rose garden right across the street was in full bloom when we were there. Nice paths nearby. Some great cafes walking distance on Parnell street (we loved 3Nutmeg for Indian). We also found there is a walking path on the other side of Parnell rail station so you can walk to Domain gardens. Susan provided a simple breakfast but if you want a bit more there were some really nice places on Parnell street. And we had a fun electric scooter ride all the way home after exploring downtown Auckland.
This little place has everything you need - the attention to detail of eveyrthing you could need during your parnell stay has been thought of by the lovely hosts. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my mum and it was the perfect place for us. Reasonable price and great location
My daughter and I spent the night in this absolutely delightful AirB&B on the eve of her wedding - which took place in the beautiful Parnell Rose gardens right opposite. I cannot sing the praises of this suite highly enough: everything - and I mean everything - has been thought of. At one point I urgently needed a pair of scissors and - of course - they were there. The room is light and airy and has a beautiful private garden. Fluffy bathrobes are provided and the bathroom floor is heated. Susan went to endless trouble to provide for allergy to feather bed linen and was so warm and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the linen felt brand new, the whole place is spotless and feels very secure with entrance gate and house codes. It's right in the centre of Parnell and walking distance to all sorts of restaurants and nightlife but the actual road is very quiet - didn't even need my habitual earplugs. Breakfast was everything you could think of, and as it was DIY we could prepare at our leisure: fresh and tinned fruits, yogurts, a myriad of cereals and tea, delicious coffee, toast, jams etc. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous place to anyone seeking accommodation in central Auckland and would love to stay again. Fantastic place to stay! The room is really big and the bathroom feels brand new - the shower is just to die for. Everything you could ever want or need is already there for you, you don't even need to ask. Couldn't recommend more highly!
I cannot say enough superlatives about our stay at the Parnell Garden Suite. Susan is the most gracious host and has thought of every single detail that a traveler may need. We were pleasantly surprised with a well-stocked kitchen with numerous breakfast items that lasted all four days of our stay. The unit is immaculate and decorated in a very modern fashion. Susan was communicative and accommodating. She lives right above the property and very easy to contact with questions. We stayed in over 8 different properties during our stay in New Zealand and Susan's place was one of our favorites!

Absolutely Wonderful B&B. Susan’s place was super clean and exactly per her web site. We could not get over the extensive number of amenities she provided from guide books to hot chocolate to a picnic hamper. The WIFI was excellent. This place was modern, well lit and tranquil — located in a succulent garden. We appreciated the walking access to nearby shops, restaurants and the rose garden park after our long flight from Canada.
