“Highly recommended!! Hired this hall for a first birthday in the weekend and it was such a beautiful venue. Easy to hire, communication was quick and very efficient. Very easy to find if you are using the google maps. We hired the main hall and small meeting room next to the kitchen and the kitchen we also added the Full stage and AV package. We were given a video with instructions on how to use the Full AV and it was very informative and very easy to follow. For someone who don’t know anything about AVs, we had no problem at all and everything worked out well. Very happy!! Photos below…”

“I recently visited Neil Cafe and bar and was truly impressed by the outstanding quality of my meal also a very reasonable price especially considering the quality of the ingredients. I had a slow cooked pork belly on mash with fresh salad. The meal was very generous in size and I was sorry when I had finished despite being unable to eat anything else cos I was very full! Seriously it's my favorite place to eat now.”

“Lovely walk (though steep at times) through the bush, where you can find ALL the typical flora and fauna of Auckland's bush. The pool at the waterfall is great to cool down (literally) in summer. Pitty the track on the South side of the valley is closed due to the huge slip (you can see it on your way up). The road that takes to the entrance of the track is still restricted to residents, but it is an easy 1k walk from the Piha fire station.”

“With so many pizza place to choose from around Takapuna I chose this one. It is delicious and affordably priced for these kinds of pizza that are not dominoes or Pizza Hut pizzas. Great flavour profiles and quick to be made and quick to be eaten. “Auckland Zoo is an easy standout. The staff and volunteers are genuinely friendly and make the whole place feel welcoming. The animals look well cared for and the habitats are clean and well maintained. Plenty to keep the kids entertained with lots of space to explore and learn. Also, the coffee at the front cafe is surprisingly good which is always a win. A smooth, enjoyable visit from start to finish. Great place for families. Parking was closed due to renovations, so we had to park near MOTAT. Nice walk through the park though.”

“Beautiful setting and environment. Children play ground as well as walking tracks, one of which leads down to water front. Grounds gets very soggy on wet winters, this is so to the basketball court, paly ground, refer photos. Good summer picnic spot, quite and a hidden gem.”

“Excellent food. Nice quirky place. The young lady who served the table was very gentle and kind. We ordered eggplant puree with naan bread for entrée and it was delicious. The lamb shank with mashed potato and rib beef and both meals were superb. It's a shame they don’t have beers but it goes with their tradition. Recommended!”
