My first time here and I LOVE the tepid baths! We came to Auckland for our first family Xmas (2025) in 18 years. I bought a week by week pass and it is SO reasonably priced! Clean and tidy facilities and the water is so refreshing! And great staff! Very friendly and helpful. Thank you all!
Hidden little pool right near the harbour & foreshore restaurants & hotels. Super helpful & friendly team! Perfect when travelling to Auckland & needing to do a few laps for exercise
We’ve been taking our son to Tepid Baths for swimming lessons since he was one. I can’t recommend the teachers here enough! Akata is a superstar with babies and toddlers, and now my boy is with Finn for the preschool class — he’s amazing as well. One of the highlights here is that the pools are very well maintained; my son has never had any eye or ear infections after swimming here, which used to be my biggest concern. They also have a lane for kids to play in after their sessions.
The cleanest of the leisure centres I visited. Warm water for kids, renewed spa and sauna rooms. Plenty of changing rooms for family. The only con is there isn't any family bathroom, just one for wheelchair.
Tepid Baths is a great facility overall, but the standard of cleanliness especially in the men’s toilets really needs improvement. The bathrooms don’t appear to be cleaned as thoroughly or as often as they should be, considering how many people use the space. I feel especially sorry for the kids who have to use them. General cleaning around the venue also seems to have slipped. For such a busy and well-used community facility, maintaining hygiene should be a higher priority. I hope this gets addressed soon, as the venue has a lot to offer otherwise.
Great facility, clean, great value and not too crowded.
The customer service person was really helpful - I couldn't get an internet connection to pay for my admission and she went above and beyond to help me. Pool was really good - I went around midday on a weekday so it was starting to get busy. Water was warm on a cold day and the pool was really good for swimming laps
Great facilities and the water was lovely and warm (not too many chemicals like some public pools) They had lifeguards on so its safe for kids, the only thing I would say is it was way too busy when I went. They really need to put limits on how many people can be in the Spa/Sauna at the same time.
It's a great gym, pool, sauna and whirlpool. It has everything and isn't very often crowded. The cleanliness is the only thing which could improve. Dirt on walls and floors stays there for month and no one sees it. Water fountains are not well maintained. Changing rooms need a monthly detail cleaning.
Wonderful facility at a good price, located in city center. There are two pools, the 25m with 1.1-2.1m depth and the 15m with 0.8-1.2m depth. The changing room and shower room are very clean. Very friendly service from the staff. There is also a mini store of swimming/gym esential.
