“Went to see Dr. Simon Yam for routine checkup, xrays and clean+polish (as I was recommended by my friend) - initially I was really nervous, but he was very gentle and even during the polish there was hardly any pain - it was the most comfortable I've felt having my teeth cleaned in decades! the dental assistant was also very gd and she made sure I didn't choke on any water either - highly recommended!! will be going here from now on!”

They never promise, never oversell, but they always over deliver. A nurturing atmosphere, realistic. “I am up visiting from Napier, unfortunately had two teeth break on two separate days.. Dentspa Karaka not only managed to squeeze me in.. but I left being able to smile again. Robyn you're the most beautiful soul and from the moment I walked in the door, I knew I was in good hands at Dentspa. Dr Eman and her Dental assistant (im so sorry to of forgotten your name) .. you both worked wonders, easing my dental anxiety, being gentle and compassionate. I walked in anxious and unable to smile.. but walked out calm and feeling beautiful again. Dr Eman, I cannot thank you enough. You didn't have much to work with, with the broken teeth.. but you somehow worked your skillset and I left with two of my front teeth being whole again. Thanks all at Dentspa, you are all incredible x”

“Excellent dentist. Went above and beyond in my opinion. I had an appointment to fix my crown but because of lockdown, I was unable to have this done. This dentist kept in contact and ensured I got my crown done as soon as possible after lockdown ended. I was very impressed with their service. The staff are also friendly and professional. If you're looking for a lovely local dentist, I would highly recommend this one.”

“I saw Ivan yesterday on short notice for a calf strain ahead of a marathon this weekend. Both he and the lady at reception were kind, clear and welcoming. Ivan has good technical knowledge and was able to provide realistic advice and guidance on managing the injury. I'll be back in future and would highly recommend the Active+ team to anyone.”

“I took my son to see Dr. Wu at Lumino Viva, and the experience was exceptional. My son was too young for a pulpotomy with a community dentist, so we were referred to Lumino Viva. After calling over 20 dentists, Dr. Wu was the only one willing to take on the treatment. We are so grateful for this and will definitely recommend Lumino Viva to our friends. “I visited a couple of times during my stay in Newmarket. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I can’t fault the value — a day pass was very affordable at NZD $11 (around £6 for me). Please note that this review is intended as constructive feedback and does not reflect my overall positive experience of visiting. The changing rooms felt a little run down, and a spin dryer for swimsuits would have been useful. The pool itself was a great length, though I did experience a strong chlorine reaction in my eyes. The sauna was more like a saunarium, while the steam room was excellent it was spacious, consistently producing great steam, and one of the best I’ve been to. That said, it could have been cleaned more thoroughly but maybe it was the time of day i entered, and the ceiling may need replacing at some point. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here, especially the 50m pool the first I’ve come across. Many thanks.”

“Went in this morning to get my 5 year old daughter’s ears pierced. Was a wonderful experience they told when to come back so that another staff member was there so they could do both ears at the same time. The side room had lots of kids pictures and a cuddly toy for her to hold. Highly recommend”

“My favourite leisure centre by far - the gym has all you need, plus having the sauna and pool for recovery is ideal. Special mention to Alex up in the gym - super welcoming guy with buckets of knowledge, charisma, and a friendly demeanour to boot!”

“This is a really great store. The staff are lovely and they have so much variety from organic spices to charcoal toothpaste and everything in between. They have lots of bin products of course so you can refill your own containers. I like trying new products every time I go there - this time it was vanilla bean paste which I'm having in my porridge. Yum! They stock lots of natural health products like the zero waste, plastic free Go Bamboo cotton buds. So it's a great store if you're looking to make more conscious choices for yourself and the earth. I just refilled my empty vinegar bottle and will do the same with my ecostore shampoo etc once they are empty. Check it out :)”

“Surprising night in Habibi Cafe, I live 45 minutes away from the city, it’s the only cafe/shisha open 24/7, came to buy some tobacco, the owner generously asked if I would like to join him smoking, with out hesitation I said YES, staff are very nice and welcoming, recommend 110% Will be coming more often. “Very efficient. Medication is delivered promptly. Notifications of next delivery are sent well in advance as are reminders when prescriptions need refilling. Staff are very helpful if there are issues or queries and the fact they only charge for medicines which are not covered but no charge for prescriptions or postage is amazing. I can't recommend this service highly enough.”

“Visited Trust Arena for the first time, found it to be an excellent facility, I used the indoor sprint track and then moved to the outside field track, awesome set up and a great public venue for sports, exercise and enjoying the surroundings. There is also vrry good play ground next to the field track. A good set of stairs are available that are great for stair work and exercise.”
