   Our experience at Māngere Pools was disappointing. The woman at the front with blonde highlights spoke to us with a rude tone and made us feel unwelcome. While swimming, we also noticed lifeguards laughing at kids who were clearly struggling in the water. Each time we tried to go inside to swim, the same staff member told us to “go back outside” for no clear reason - maybe implying the inside will be wet but, isn’t that what a swimming centre is supposed to be? wet. Overall, the staff were unprofessional, and it didn’t feel like a safe or welcoming environment.

   ❗❗ Parents, please be aware that sending you child into the public pool bathrooms without your supervision is extremely unsafe❗❗ Also be aware that there are phones with cameras that may be used to film or take pictures of your child while they are changing. Kids may be targeted unknowingly. Unfortunately there are people who are disgusting and should never be trusted. Keep your children safe.

   Sept 8th 2025. This review is for kiddy Indoor Pools. The pools are great. Temp is warm well temp. It was busy with students but not so much kiddy pools which was what I was there for. Plenty of space and had fountains that sprout different shapes as water falls with whale waterfall great for sensory. Different water hights also. Deepest adult thigh height , kids waist height roughly.

   This has one of the best young kids areas I've seen, and it's heated! The staff are friendly and everything I saw is clean. It's a wonderful free resource for the community, highly recommend!

   Kind service. Clean and sweet environment. Hot shower for free if you swim there or you will have to pay $2. Must prepare your own toiletries such as shampoo, body wash, towel, hair dryer and so on.

   A shame!! They have everything separated because the spaces for exercising are very small, on the second floor when you arrive you have to write down on a blackboard how long you will be in the jogging machine, we first day we entered and no one told us anything and after 10 minutes we had to leave because we did not sign up, some machines are rusty and in the room where the weights are they They should improve the facilities for what is charged weekly.

   I and my 3 children, after a week of being homeless, finally met this group of kind and kind-hearted people, and they welcomed me and my children in the best possible way. Of course, I'm not talking about the pool, I'm talking about the "fono social" that is in this collection. I am talking about the kind-hearted head of this complex to all the caring employees of this institution. After a week, my children were able to rest well and I am very happy about that.

   The staff are so lovely! I don't come here but my mum does, she had a medical event which required assistance of the staff and they were so kind, helpful and didnt make her feel like a burden. Appreciate you so much.

   Love this place, train here some time and the stuff their are awesome got know some of them in training classes. Stay out west but when I’m in the area I’ll pop in the gym.
