My partner bought cough syrup for me from this pharmacy last week. After taking it for several days, I found it’s expired for 5 months. When I returned the expired syrup to the pharmacy, the staff clearly knew it was expired and told me that’s why there’s a discount on it. I said my partner was not explained when he bought it otherwise he would not buy it. Then the pharmacy staff said it’s still safe to use the medication for 6 months after the expiry date. I was so surprised with her attitude and I’ve never heard that the medication can be sold to customer after the expiry date. I checked online and the health navigator NZ website says ‘You should not take medicines after their expiry date’. I finally had the syrup exchanged but the whole experience was so gross!!! I will never go back to this pharmacy again!!!!
Had a really bad reaction to a mosquito bite on my lip and chin. I looked ridiculous. The lady there was so lovely and helpful and also didn’t make me feel weird at all being a foreigner (as experienced elsewhere before). She recommended some antihistamine tablets and some good insect repellent. She made me feel like she was actually concerned and interested in my well-being. Best pharmacy experience in my life!
