A dissapointed swim. It’s expensive for an Adila to swim: $8,20. The water is not a nice temperature, i would even say cold. It was school holidays, so lots of kids/ parents and that’s fine as there is another big swimmingpool to play in. But they were also in the lap swimming pool, and kids don’t really swim laps, they play, even some private swimming lessons were going on where people try to swim their laps. 1 person was there to have an overlook. With so many people, there should be more. And it’s through, the swimmingpool doesnt give a clean when the gaps between the tiles turn green and black.

We love this place! Indoor pools and outdoor splash pad, spa and sauna - very convenient for every age group. Oh, you can book a birthday party there too and you'll get the entire training pool just for your group.

Though this is a great facility - the opening times of the splash pool are disappointing - they are different everyday and you need to either check the website or call before going to see what time it opens. Usually they open at 11:30 am to 2pm which is too late for toddlers which this pool mainly serves and is technically lunch time. A couple of times we arrived to find the lifeguards (young team members) still setting up the pool and removing the covers so though it was scheduled to open at 11:30am - the gates were not opened till 11:45am. Then there are instances where we needed to wait to get in the facility all together because was at capacity - when we got in it was no where near full. The way I see it - there are staffing issues - either understaffed or under performing. It seems like the more we pay (entry fees, rates) the less we get. Splash pool should be open 9am to 12pm - that suits toddler times much better. And please stick to a schedule and employee more lifeguards. This is a great facility but not serving all its community members well and as such is under utilised. Why invest in building a splash pool only for it to be open for 3.5 hours if that a day?

Very clean pools and warm water during winter. Suitable for kids of all ages. They also have dedicated changing rooms for babies and toddlers. Easy parking with heaps of spaces. Entry fee is very cheap and free for kids who are under 12. Definitely a great place for swimming on the weekends.

Facilities are very good but in the sauna and steam rooms there are signs saying quiet zone and they are always full of Chinese people speaking Chinese, so hard to relax and meditate when they are speaking mandarin it’s very irritating

Great indoor pools with lifeguards on duty and a great place to escape the Auckland winter weather!

My kids and I were insulted by the front desk at Lloyd Elsmore Park Pool in HIGHPARK. We joined swimming lessons, and I would take my kids swimming when I was not in class. We meet the front desk staff every day and greet them politely. We are very familiar with the staff at the front desk. But just yesterday, my child and I came to the swimming pool as usual, and when we passed the front desk, we still greeted each other with a smile. But a lady named CECILIA suddenly stopped us fiercely and yelled at us, "You should explain to us what you are here for instead of laughing, your laugh is stupid" My child was terrified, I immediately explained to CECILIA "my child is swimming", but CECILIA still yelled "do you pay for it", I said "it's just my child swimming, I don't swim" As soon as I heard that I just accompanied the children to swim. CECILIA looked very unhappy, then she said "If you don't pay, you just wear your bracelet honestly instead of rushing in, our swimming pool has to pay" I vaguely heard her insult us One sentence. My child was terrified, she pulled me away, and I was also worried that it would affect the child, so I immediately said I knew, and I will ask you to wear a wristband before entering the door in the future. And immediately stretched out her hand, beckoning her to help me take it. But CECILIA not only didn't help me with a bracelet, but she still didn't stop her clamoring. Until another staff member came to help me put on the bracelet and motioned for me to leave quickly. As the child and I were walking, this CECILIA was still insulting us loudly behind us. After I settled the child down, I came to Cecilia and asked her what mistake I had made that required her to humiliate us in front of the child. Suddenly she called a lifeguard and asked where my child was? What happened to me and my baby? Just because our mother tongue is not English, I can't understand, and I can't speak well, so I deserve to be insulted for no reason?

The place was very busy when we arrived as it was school holiday, the guards were monitoring the people in the water all the times, which was great! However, some pools were closed so the kids did not get to enjoy the kid's pools. The entrance fee for supervising adult that goes into water is $1 and there are also other paid facilities such as gym, sauna and cafΓ©. The shower area is partially open (no door) and there are family changing rooms. There are also a few different parks near to the pool building.

We went for an afternoon splash at the splash pad. It was free to go in and let the kids run around outside. There were a few tables under shade available. Both nephews (1 and 5yo) really enjoyed it. The swimming facilities inside also look new and nice but we just went to the splash pad.
