Visited Trust Arena for the first time, found it to be an excellent facility, I used the indoor sprint track and then moved to the outside field track, awesome set up and a great public venue for sports, exercise and enjoying the surroundings. There is also vrry good play ground next to the field track. A good set of stairs are available that are great for stair work and exercise.

Went to see Opeth, God bless Mikael Akerfeldt and co., was a beautiful concert. Unfortunately the seating arrangement was a big block of chairs all the way from the back to the stage- for a metal concert. Mikael himself apologized for the seats being in the way. Forgive me if I'm wrong guys but I'm pretty sure the moshpit goes at the front, not the back ❤️

Opeth show: The sound was good but a few simple things were poor, including the standing room being behind the seats and the glass recycling making a giant crashing sound every time someone drops a bottle into it.

Got nephew's basketball training over there. It's a huge arena for basketball. Great indoor venue for this type if sport - basketball.

Nice venue for a concert. There were plenty of street parking nearby so it was fairly easy to get to. The space is qutie large and it was clean. Went to see Blindspott, The Used and Papa Roach.

Not flashiest stadium, but it works. Came here to see Jo Koy and his world tour in 2023. The man even referenced the stadium, looking like a shelter, ice skating ring, or high school gymnasium. I get the place wasn't sold out there for it was suitable to accommodate the amount of people in attendance.

Beautiful experience. Sort out Parking otherwise it's awesome.

Changed rating from 4 to 5 star because Ice Cube and Cypress Hill are a 10. Ice Cube's the coolest hip-hop rapper on earth. More than enough entertainment staff NZPD food; expect a small eftpos fee charged from some food caravans portaloos drinks and saw an amazing person picking up concert-goers rubbish but not ours we'd put it in the bins. An advice to one question I needed to know but didn't want to bother anyone which probably isn't Trusts Arena related. Would it have enough parking or off street parking? no parking available and they'd closed off surrounding roads. I'd spent a week concerning myself over it but two nights before the concert Ticketek sends a final email "things to know before" Free travel on AT buses and trains including a special event bus service for ticket holders.

Attended 2 concerts here in 2 months and very well organized in terms of set up and moving crowds in and out. Both setups were very different, but the flow of foot traffic at both events prevented congestion (well, for us at least) and therefore less confusion and stress of us small towners getting lost. I realize this is the work of the event organizers, but some venues are just difficult. Not this one.
