Unfortunately, the employees behaved in a very rude and unprofessional manner i had face this behaviour several time. She does not communicate respectfully and speaks in a very harsh and inappropriate tone. This issue has occurred more than once, including today. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not meet the standards I would expect from your organization. Because of this repeated poor treatment, I no longer wish to continue to go.

3.5 stars. The Newmarket Olympic Pool is awesome. The pool itself, steam room and spa are great. The sauna and steam room are not in good repair however when compared with other Auckland public facilities. The ceiling of the steam room has peeling paint and is starting to bough. I think it's just a cosmetic issue and I understand the commercial difficulties with the closure for earthquake strengthening needed. But it would be great if that ceiling could be fixed.

Visited the pool on a Sunday and had an overall good experience. The sauna, steam room, and spa were great, and the pool itself was nice as well. The only downside was that the lane markings on the floor weren’t consistent across all lanes, which caused a couple of run-ins. Aside from that, everything else was enjoyable.

I visited a couple of times during my stay in Newmarket. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I can’t fault the value β€” a day pass was very affordable at NZD $11 (around Β£6 for me). Please note that this review is intended as constructive feedback and does not reflect my overall positive experience of visiting. The changing rooms felt a little run down, and a spin dryer for swimsuits would have been useful. The pool itself was a great length, though I did experience a strong chlorine reaction in my eyes. The sauna was more like a saunarium, while the steam room was excellent it was spacious, consistently producing great steam, and one of the best I’ve been to. That said, it could have been cleaned more thoroughly but maybe it was the time of day i entered, and the ceiling may need replacing at some point. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here, especially the 50m pool the first I’ve come across. Many thanks.

The Olympic Pool is a wonderful gym. It caters for everything I want to do ,including yoga classes, strength training with a personal trainer and relaxing in the wonderful hot pools. The staff are very helpful and super friendly . It’s a welcoming , well run gym with high standards and great coaches and teachers . It’s the best gym membership I’ve ever had. .

Great facilities, but needs better security in terms of who comes through. I've seen few times where this homeless looking man come through the cafe entrance then go straight into the hotpool without rinsing or changing. He's very big(obese) and wears black tshirt, blue short pants, and gray Hoodia jumper. It's absolutely bloody disgusting.

I usually appreciate the amenities offered at this local pool, but unfortunately, I've had a persistently frustrating experience with the sauna over the past six months. The sauna's temperatures have consistently ranged from 64-72 degrees Celsius, a significant drop from the average 80 degrees Celsius we enjoyed in 2022. The pool's website states that the sauna should range between 75-85 degrees Celsius, and a sign on the sauna door also promises a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience for some time now. In January 2023, when I first raised this issue with the staff, they acknowledged the problem and assured me it was being addressed. Fast forward to now, the situation has not improved. In fact, the sauna temperature dropped to a disappointing 59 degrees Celsius on one occasion. The staff now attribute the lower temperatures to "too many people entering and exiting the sauna," which doesn't align with my observations. The low temperatures persist even when the sauna is not crowded. It's disheartening to see this issue unresolved after such a long period. I look forward to seeing action taken to rectify this and restore the sauna to its advertised conditions, but I cant recommend paying the fee for the pools while the sauna is in this condition.

Great warm pool but inconsistent pricing for a adult with a 3 years old. Once I was told that we are free to access the pool. Today I was charged full adult price with free preschooler. It would be good to have details about preschooler & parent supervision on their website.
