“I recently visited this Mayas restaurant and was blown away by how authentic and flavorful the food was. Every dish tasted like it was made with real care, traditional spices, and genuine Indian cooking techniques. The aromas, the presentation, and the flavours all reminded me of home. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the staff made sure we were comfortable throughout. The menu had a great variety and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. If you’re looking for true Indian taste and a warm dining experience, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend”

“This is my go to when I am craving Indian food. I’ve always liked their butter chicken and samosa. Yummy! Though I haven’t dined at the actual restaurant yet, I always have it delivered via either uber eats or deliver easy.”

“Ordered on line. Pick up time said 7:16 didn’t get my food until 7:45. I don’t mind waiting for food but I do get frustrated when they say pick up at such a time and then keep you waiting half an hour. They need to sort out their pick time on the Internet.”

“Complimentary papadam to start while you look at the menu. Great selection and equally great results when the food arrives. Staff are extremely polite and genuine people. Usually plenty of space as most people do takeaways, by the looks of it. Venue is moody but underlit in my opinion.”

“A nice little takeaway serving freshly cooked Indian food and snacks. The menu items are limited which makes the choice of items very easy. The food is kept in heated display units which makes it easier to order and choose from. Taste is nice and balanced in terms of spices. The staff are nice and helpful too. Prices are reasonable and genuine. A couple of seating stools are inside the takeaway for a quick bite. Very nice experience overall.”

“I am so mad that ive left it so long to eat here! Honestly one of the best curries ive ever had, beautiful rich flavors, perfectly cooked meat and perfect heat! Even my daughters butter chicken which im usually not a fan of at all, had so much depth and more flavor than ive ever had in a butter chicken. Max, sir you are a gentleman and I appreciate you taking the time to talk about your flavors as well and for having such a friendly and inviting attitude. “This is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the North Shore and probably Auckland. The foods flavour was really good. My friends got a variety of dishes; and all tasted perfect. The meals were very reasonable priced, the portion sizes were large. During the meal, the kind lady (owner I’m guessing) asked us multiple times if we needed more rice or extras. There was a few other people coming in and out, as they were picking up their takeaway meals, which proves it’s popular with the locals. I have seen some of the other reviews and this place is deserving of them all. I definitely would eat here again!”

“This place has great food, but it's a hole in the wall, almost literally. It opened at noon and you have to go down this long hallway with bottles hanging. You sit on rickety wooden crates, there are 3 different rooms or sections. See if you can get the one in the back it's very laid back. We tried almost Eveything, I'd say you have a hard time finding something that you don't enjoy. Try the thumbs up if you're looking for Pepsi or coke.”

Their food is absolutely divine and their pricing is wonderful for the large portion sizes you are given. If you choose to dine in, the service they provide is lovely.
