   Consistency is really very poor. Service is worst one soup served after waiting almost 70 minutes. Delay is too bad so is there service and specially food. We came second time our last experience was better in regards to food though service was anyway slow but tonight was terrible. I will never ever come for dinner at this place. They don't respect customers. Table just next to us have to stand and go to counter to order naan as there was no one to attend. Such a poor thing to experience in hospitality business. Waiter came and said chef are busy doing online orders so dine in customers are sacrificed.Such a shame.

   Restaurant Review: Sages, Pt Chev! My friend and I were on the hunt for some authentic Indian food, so we decided to try Sages in Pt Chev. The restaurant boasts a nice, clean environment, and we were greeted warmly by a friendly waitress with a smile—always a good start. I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo with garlic naan, while my friend opted for the Matter Methi Malai with cheese naan. The Matter Methi Malai looked delicious at first glance, but to our surprise, it contained scrambled paneer, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. When we brought this to our waitress's attention, she was quick to apologize and confirmed with the chef that it had indeed been added. Thankfully, neither of us had a paneer allergy, but it was concerning that this important detail was omitted from the menu. As for the Chicken Vindaloo, I must say I was quite taken aback. It resembled a Manchurian soup with chicken rather than the rich, spicy dish I had anticipated. It was a far cry from what I expected when ordering a vindaloo. On a positive note, the cheese naan was exceptional—possibly the best I've had in Auckland! Overall, I left Sages feeling disappointed. While the ambiance and service were commendable, the food did not meet our expectations, and the miscommunication about the paneer was concerning. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning to this restaurant.

   I’d really not recommend you order delivery. Appalling service it took 20 minutes just to find out the driver was struggling to find the house, as it seems they weren’t able to read numbers on letterboxes. Just absolutely arrogant service when you call to enquire where your meal is. Asked for the delivery fee to be credited since it was so late, and I had to walk half way up the street to get it, but no. Was promised a discount next time, but there will never be a next time. To be honest, I was so not in the mood for the food after all that hassle, that I only had the samosas. The rest has gone in the freezer. But it’s pretty simple …. there are plenty of good quality restaurants around with fabulous service. This is not one of them.

   My partner ordered last time and had to wait an hour for pick up and no sorry or compensation. Tried to give it another go and ordered medium spicy chicken tikka masala and got mild and no flavour. Onion Bhaji was 70% flour, worst bhaji I’ve had. Wont be going back

   Ordered chicken tikka masala and it was good. Thick sauce and good mix of meat and capsicum. Rice was also fluffy and delicious. Mango lassi was also nice. Just odd to have it topped with chocolate powder. Soothing background music. Just pricey.

   Normally I place a phone order for pick up but last time when I made an online order for delivery they accidentally missed my order. After a long wait for 1hr 53m I got my food with complementary crispy chips, and they offered 10% discount for next order. Anyway I’m highly likely to go back there for only one reason that their curry & nann are super tasty. definitely recommended.
