I just ate samosa chaat and it was terrible. The boy who prepared it didn’t know how to make it properly. I had only one spoon because the taste was so bad, and I threw the rest in the trash. I waste my money on this samosa chaat. Please give that boy some proper training

Segregation or veg and non veg is not that good. Aloo paratha was good. Cleanliness could be improved.

I went there yesterday and asked for a plain paratha, and I was told straight away that I’d have to wait for half an hour — really, half an hour for just a plain paratha! Then I asked about chole bhature and got the same reply. I was told she had too many orders to make. So I ended up eating something I really didn’t want. This is actually the second time this has happened to me — the lady tells me there’s a half-hour wait as if she’s already made up her mind. I understand you might have a lot of orders to prepare, but a 30-minute wait for a plain paratha is just unreasonable.

A nice little takeaway serving freshly cooked Indian food and snacks. The menu items are limited which makes the choice of items very easy. The food is kept in heated display units which makes it easier to order and choose from. Taste is nice and balanced in terms of spices. The staff are nice and helpful too. Prices are reasonable and genuine. A couple of seating stools are inside the takeaway for a quick bite. Very nice experience overall.

got the combo which you had 1meat curry option + 1 vege curry option + 1 rice & 2 roti all for $15 and the serving size was good.

Can put some good English speaking front line workers, everyone cant talk in Hindi to buy food. Rice quality not worth for money, please use good rice. And chairs looks so dirty to sit as well

Reviews seemed decent so went to check this out as I work downtown. Had the butter chicken on rice for $8. Everything was a little cold and the curry was just way too watery. Tasted a tad salty too. Plus side is the guy serving was lovely and the prices are great but probably won't be back.

One of the best Samosas in Auckland CBD. If you want samosas then you should go after 10:30am. I would recommend other food items in the menu.

Love this place for chaats and Chai. Reasonably priced with good taste and quantity. Please ask questions near the cashier if you are not familiar with the food and the quantity as I got to know they serve two portion size for samosa chaat where as with one samosa the chaat cost if $7 and with two samosas it's $9. Also the taste is good and samosas are fresh compared to other places.

It's very cheap, doesn't get much lower than $7 for a butter chicken. But to my disappointment it's not what most people would consider a butter chicken. It was tasty enough to eat but I'm not really sure what it was. The venue is very small, only enough space for three on bar stools . It's a very worn down place but I obviously didn't come here expecting a fine dining. The lady was nice enough to let me sample the curries before making my choice.
