“I have been to Yellow Mirchi few times. Friendly team here always welcomed us with a smile and delicious food. My kids love Butter Chicken with Cheese Nan. My favorite is Chicken Biriyani with yogurt Raita. Its simply delicious, you will never find this taste anywhere else. Must try. Paneer and Veg curries yum too. Relaxing decor, amazing service, visit and see/experience it yourself.”

“Seriously one of the best indian restaurants in auckland! the onion bhaji, samosa chaat and lamb nawabi dishes were a particular hit in our family. The naan is to die for, buttery almost like roti, might not be too everyone’s taste but our kids couldn’t get enough of it. Looks a bit dated walking in but don’t be tricked, would highly recommend!”

“To eat an economical plus good and tasty Indian food, Rawat is the place where you should head too. I normally try the Non Veg combo with the choice of a non veg curry along with Naan and rice. The quantity is sufficient for a person. Naan is superb. As the name says, it's mostly a takeaway place, but there are few seats to help us for dine-in.”

We were almost thrown off by some of the bad reviews but we’re so glad we tried it because it was some of the freshest and yummiest food not to mention how good the pricing is. For $21 we got a decent portion of butter chicken, rice, huge naan, and a drink. Then naan came out si fresh straight from the tandoor and was just perfect.”
