Bear Park Early Childcare Centre - Epsom

    ★★★★☆ 4.7

“A cool little childcare centre. Because it’s smaller it feels more like family. The teachers are great and work really well as a team to give great care and communication about what’s happening. We really like the fact that the outdoor spaces are big and have real grass growing rather than artificial.”

“Had the best customer service experience ever in the store. Specially sharing my experience with the Indian one. She was really nice, helpful and kind. She knew how to handle my situation. Not only this, I stayed a while and saw her helping out others too in a similar fashion. God bless her soul. We do need more of such people.”

“It’s my daughter’s first day but the visit is the best visit I have had at a daycare I love the way they do things at the centre. The teachers/reception seem so genuinely friendly and a small detail that I absolutely appreciate is her name was already on the slot where she put the bag she has been to another daycare, didn’t have as much of a good experience as we did here at piwaka so team you guys impressed a mother who is anxious about all this stuff ! Thank you”

    ACG Parnell Early Learning School

    ★★★★☆ 4.6
    Closed

“ACG Parnell Early Education Centre has been an incredible place for our son, and we are grateful every day that we made the move. One of the standout strengths is the food. Every meal is handmade, fresh, and truly varied. Our son eats a wide range of foods there—many that he refuses at home—which speaks to both the quality of the meals and the amazing skill of the chef. The care that goes into feeding the children is something special. The teaching team is another highlight. The teachers work together beautifully, creating a space that balances free play with structure. Our son gets to explore, learn, and grow at his own pace, while still having routines that support his development. Jenny has done a remarkable job leading the centre. She supports the children, the parents, and the teachers in a way that builds genuine trust and community. We moved our son to ACG Parnell for better preparation for primary school, and we feel strongly that it was the best decision we could have made. The growth we’ve seen in him—socially, emotionally, and academically—has been outstanding. We couldn’t be happier with the centre and highly recommend it to any family looking for exceptional early education.”

    Peter Pan Childcare - Mangere

    ★★★★☆ 4.4
    Closed

“We researched nearly every daycare in the Papakura and Franklin area, and decided on Peter Pan Daycare in Opaheke/Papakura. The location is very good, as it's on Great South Road and 2 minutes from the motorway and train station, so convenient for pick up / drop off. We initially had our daughter in another daycare, however decided that Peter Pan was a better fit for her so transitioned her over when she was around 18 months old. We always liked the Montessori type philosphy around education, and we felt this daycare had a similar type of feel and approach. We were very nervous about moving our daughter to another daycare, but we felt so supported through the transition period and the Centre Manager and teachers took a customised / personal approach to suit our daughter and what she needed. Now 2 and a half, she is just thriving there, and our 1 year old has just started. It's the little things that make this place great. The staff are just awesome, their academic qualifications, their previous teaching backgrounds, their genuine passion for what they do, I feel like my children are in an environment where they are loved and nurtured. The Centre Manager is marvellous, anything to do with child development, behavioural stages, education, she is just an expert and we rely alot on her advice. The Centre is brand new, so the resources / faciliites are very modern, extremely clean. The babies sleep room is great, air conditioned / heatpumps. I love that I don't have to pack a bag or food, as they have an on site chef and each child has a locker, so I literally walk the kids in on their own, no bag or anything. The food is amazing and like something off a high end cafe menu! The large rooms are connected by a hallway, which makes it so much easier when dropping off a baby and a toddler, I'm not having to go to 2 separate buildings for each child. The Centre is also off the road, so from the security perpsective, I really like it. Regular stories and photos updates about the children on their development come into my phone each day and throughout the week, so I always know what they are doing and get a snapshot into their world. Each day, I get a run down of what has happened with each child, what they did, how long they slept, what they ate, any particular milestones reached or tried etc etc. The administration / invoicing is always accurate. I think the biggest thing for us is that we feel our children are genuinely loved there and their leaps and bounds in their development is the proof and they way they interact with their teachers is with true affection. We are a multi cultural family, with a Pakeha father and Samoan mother, so it was very important to us that our children were exposed to as many different cultures and languages for their academic development and social interactions in the outside world, and we love that the Centre has so many cultures and each is respected and nurtured. After looking at around 20 daycares, this one really ticked all the boxes for us. Peter Pan is a really good brand, but what makes this particular Peter Pan daycare in Opaheke so great is the quality of the Teachers and Center Manager.”

“We had our daughter start at Lollipops when she was around one. We love this place and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a loving daycare for their children. The teachers have been there for a long time and are all beautiful women who cares so much for the children. They do weekly music classes, has a super fun outdoor play space which they use daily and my daughter has learned so much from mat time. They also make beautiful, healthy home cooked meals which is amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.”

“I came into your store today with a voucher my son had received through doing some work for SAS. The voucher did not work online so I decided to try my luck in-store with the voucher. I explained the situation to the lady who was working. Right off the bat she was amazing and accommodating. She was also the only worker on and she had other customers in the store who she also needed to tend to but she quickly assured me that this would not be an issue and she would sort this out for me and was super helpful from start to end. I didn’t manage to get her name but she was absolutely lovely. Thank you for your amazing customer service I will definitely be back again. :)”

“I was served by the most amazing, lovely and thoughtful person at the copy centre today. They was chatty and helpful and I felt like they genuinely cared about the poster I was making. I never told them the reason we were making the poster but it was about our dog that passed away a couple of weeks ago so it just shows they were fully like this with everyone. We were going through a lot and I'm just so greatful. It was like 3pm I think.”

“My daughter has been going there for nearly three years. The teachers over there are have so much patience and passions with the kids. They are not only looking after them, but also they would get down to the ground and play with them. They nurture them with lots of love. The centre provide detail and honest feedback on the kid’s development at school. This is very appreciated by the parents so they know what to work on at home. Overall, I highly recommend this ECC to anyone.”
