Could not believe how dirty the bathrooms were. Disgusting and gross They got my drink I ordered wrong... twice... Either understaffed or just lazy staff. When we arrived to buy our cinema tickets and food there was absolutely no one at the register, so we had to call out, Hello?? Excuse me?? Took about 5 minutes before someone came out. I will attach the photos of the mistaken drinks. I ordered bubble tea, which are meant to have tapioca pearl's, in the photo you'll see that they seem to be grinded up and they do not look appetizing at all. Then since my first drink was the wrong flavor, the next drink she ended up giving me mango pearls?? Not what I asked for. For the second time. Food is incredibly overpriced for the lack of quality that it is. My poor father paid 6/8 dollars (Can't remember which one) for the worst hotdogs I've seen and tasted in my life. Microwaved bread. The Sausage sizzles you get at Mitre10 mega are better. The cinema in general is showing its age, definitely old and isn't kept in as good of a condition as it should or could be. The seats in the cinema are not comfortable and very cheaply made. The arms rests were rickety and uncomfortable to use.

It's a good cinema. Very quiet during the weekday, which I like. Staff are friendly. It's over two levels. The foyer and games arcade is on one level and the theaters on another. The seats are a bit small for me as a bigger person, but generally comfortable with a lot of space between rows. All the latest releases and a good Asian selection (Bollywood, Korean, etc.), which you don't normally find at other theatres. There is 3 hour parking outside the cinema. I'm quite impressed.

I could rate this place zero stars, I would. Walking into this theater felt less like a night of entertainment and more like stepping into a cold room..The air conditioning was so turned off and we were literally shivering..we went to make complaint and the lady at counter said it’s Ac and technician didn’t come ..we came for movie and if theatre is not operating properly shut it down ..we left half way sad to say but I genuinely questioned whether they were trying to refrigerate the audience..bad experience don’t go there ..and it’s not only 1theatre she mentioned couple of them ..is it cost cutting ??

Hope there were signs no feet on chairs. A mother and her son sitting behind ( row J seat 8 Nd 9) IDIOTS kept putting feet on top of my chair backrest. Was really gross . I looked at them few times but absolutely no manners. Hope staff can put some signs so this can stop and we enjoy what we paid for.

Staff don't seem interested in helping rectify any issues you may have - there were other people sitting in my seat and I wasn't too comfortable asking the group to move, I waited 10 minutes to be seen by staff to ask if I could have my seats moved to the front (where there were no people sitting) but was told to just ask them to move or one of the staff could come and ask them to move (the lines were long and I could tell they didn't want to leave the counter). I didn't see the issue in just having my seats moved to the front. Apart from that, prices are cheaper than other cinemas but I would prefer to pay extra for a better experience.

Good to have a convenient cinema in central West Auckland with plenty of car parking. Great day out for school holidays and Event play the advertised movies that kids want to see. Movie prices are fine but food and beverages can be pricey if you have a few kids tagging along.

I visited this complex yesterday for John Wick Chapter 4 and was pleasantly surprised. I am not a local in the area but saw it with a friend who does live nearby. I was happy with the prices, which were $14 for an adult ticket if you are with Cinebuzz which is a bargain, as most other cinemas charge over $20 to see a movie. The theatre we were in (cinema 4) was quite large and so was the screen. The sound system quality was nice too. I was also surprised that this place was not crowded at all, which I honestly loved. The only downside is that the place does look really old and dated, including the walls, carpet and seats. However, I will not complain too much because they are cheap for starters, and places like HOYTS Sylvia Park is just purely disgusting. The condition of that complex consists of old broken seats, cup holders and stains everywhere while still charging the normal prices. Event Westcity at least was very clean and I was more than happy! I will definitely return in the future mainly for the prices, but also for the large cinemas and cleanliness.
