This is has got to be the worst warehouse ever. Everytime i go there they have hardly any groceries. Chilled foods in the fridge area is always empty! Why??? Yet other warehouses are always fully stocked. Maybe change your store manager, cause she obviously isn't doing her job properly. Over this branch, just getting worse.
Josh just saved my Christmas. I was after a Disney plushie for my gf’s mother, that had an annoying sku which multiple plushies were linekd to. I’ve been to two other Warehouse locations and had been met with lackluster customer service; pointing me towards the direction and/or not bothering to investigate stock amounts. And then I met Josh. This man looked up the sku, grabbed a ladder, and went hunting. The situation was getting dire as each box he went skimmed through failed to match what we were after. The last box looked grim, but as he turned it around, low and behold was the fateful sku I’ve been feining to find. The toy was raised out of the box like a new born child and passed to me. In that heart racing moment I promised to Josh that I’d write him a Google review. Please give him a raise.
The service here is shocking. I went to the customer service desk to pick up a click and collect order and stood there for ages. No one came out, there’s no bell or button, and staff clearly saw me waiting. One worker even walked right past me without bothering to let me know no one was manning the desk. The checkout staff and the security girl could see me standing there the whole time and didn’t bother to help. When I finally asked the security girl, she just pointed lazily at someone at the checkouts like it was a hassle. Why even have a customer service desk if customers have to go looking for the workers anyway? And then there was an older man trying to pay with cash. All the self-checkouts were card only and another staff member was literally just standing there doing nothing instead of helping him. He even thought I worked there because the actual staff were so useless. Worst Warehouse location I’ve been to.
I have purchased stuff from this store before and never had a problem in the past (and their products are always good) HOWEVER today was different. I went to collect a click and collect today, 2 staff members were busy when I came in but no one else offered to come to assist these two ladies when I was there. I understand that it was lunchtime I came in but I was slightly annoyed that me and another guy were waiting with kids for over 10 minutes before getting served. I am not one for complaining as I understand staff need lunch breaks but these guys were just walking around not offering to ask if we needed help. Only the two ladies at the checkout and the security guard cared about asking if we needed help.
The 37 Piece Driver Bit Set we bought turned out to be a 34 piece! Hate the hassle of having to go back!
In these periods, they try to ensure everyone will and have a bargain. They are also breaking again into a convenient supermarket where shoppers can get a best bargain of their purchases.
Unusually small Warehouse. Felt empty and somewhat boring. The workers were helpful and i did managed to get what i was looking for. Also it wasn't busy despite going at midday. However even Warehouses in South Auckland are much larger and better to shop at which is pretty sad especially for a large shopping suburb like Botany. Self service - Problems with self service machines both times. No-one there if you need help. Security is pretty useless as well. Unlikely to be back.
This wasn’t the first time this happen. Where all of the self service kiosks were card only and the one checkout line was full while the operator was dealing w the a refund . Took her forever while other workers were standing around talking to each other and not bothering opening up another lane. Just frustrating waiting in line while looking at workers talk to each other while the out line was full
Do click and collect here all the time. Always a great experience.
