“Accept no substitute, seriously good dairy”
“Great food and friendly service. We had sweet and sour pork, Singapore noodles, and chicken fried rice.”
“Super friendly and quick service even at the end of the day. Thank you!”
“Love the friendly staff and great deals”
“Staff are friendly and the store is always well organized and clean. Highly recommend!”
“My son came here for a birthday party and absolutely loved it! Highly recommend for parties or if you want to wear the kids out for the day.”
“The gentleman at the store was super helpful with assisting me. I was choosing a gift for a friend. Very knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommend this store!”
“Absolutely love the click and collect option and the fact that you can get specially made custom rolls with brown rice. I do recommend ordering earlier in the day if you do want brown rice because they often run out after lunch. When this happened to me I instantly received a message phone call from the staff explaining the situation and my options- great communication.”
“One of the best takeaway options in the city. Healthy and decent portion sizes, as well as bloody lovely staff!”
“I stayed here on a school trip for a few days, and I LOVED the venue. The owner was really really nice, and it's super close to so many places like supermarkets and places to shop. The rooms were not what I expected at all for this price - they looked like a full-on house! 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen area, living room, 2 tv's, huge wardrobe, 2 floors... it was great! The train station bur right behind my room, and they never woke me up. Weren't as loud as some people say. But if they are, earplugs can be bought from pretty much any shop, right?”
“Best One Sushi I've been to. Heaps of chicken when you order chicken rice bowl.”
“A Memorable Closure for the Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship As the sun began to set over the lush campus of the University of Papua New Guinea, the Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship prepared for a special event to mark the end of the academic year. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as members gathered for the grand closure ceremony, a time-honored tradition that included the ceremonial killing of pigs. This year, the fellowship had pooled their resources and raised K5000 to purchase two magnificent pigs. These pigs were not just any animals; they symbolized the community's unity, hard work, and shared faith. The funds had been collected through various fundraising activities, reflecting the dedication and commitment of the fellowship members. The ceremony began with a heartfelt prayer, thanking God for the blessings of the past year and seeking guidance for the future. The pigs, adorned with traditional decorations, were brought to the center of the gathering. Elders and leaders of the fellowship took part in the ritual, which was conducted with deep respect and reverence. As the pigs were prepared, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of camaraderie and celebration. Members shared stories of their experiences, challenges, and triumphs throughout the year. The smell of roasting meat soon wafted through the air, mingling with the sounds of laughter and song. The feast that followed was a true testament to the fellowship's spirit. Plates were piled high with succulent pork, accompanied by an array of traditional dishes. The meal was not just about the food; it was a time to bond, reflect, and give thanks. The fellowship members, from first-year students to those about to graduate, came together as one family. In the quiet moments after the feast, some members found a peaceful spot to study or reflect on the year gone by. The serene environment of the campus, with the nearby Port Moresby Nature Park providing a tranquil backdrop, offered the perfect setting for contemplation and gratitude. As the night drew to a close, the fellowship members knew that this event would be remembered for years to come. It was more than just a celebration; it was a reaffirmation of their faith, unity, and the enduring bonds they had formed. The ceremonial pig killing had once again brought them together, reinforcing the values and traditions that made their community strong.”
“Love this place. The owners are so nice and the food is so yummy. They always answer the phone and then the food is ready in 10 minutes. Even my cat loves the orange beef. She eats it all in 30 seconds flat. Crazy impressive!”
“I only found one fault . The Wellington water was not nice to drink . Everything else was well above standard .the service was way above average .the $100 deposit was refunded in 2.5 minutes . It's a quiet place where no one makes a fuss . Extremely happy to recommend this place to single people or family's.”
“We had a wonderful meal. Has a nice quiet ambiance. Lovely wait staff. Looking forward to going back soon.”
“As a student sushi is the perfect thing between classes. Its cheapish, it's good, and I don't have to wait for it to cook. The best part is that past 4-5 the prices go down, which is perfect when you have late classes”
“Great selection, and so convenient having a local store. Had to do an emergency run for baking supplies tonight - so glad you were open this late! Am loving the free shopping deliveries this month. Also, a huge thanks to Chirag and the NW team for supporting our school fundraiser.”
“Was extremely satisfied with my stay at Oaks Wellington, from the moment you check-in the staff will go out of there way to help in anyway. The rooms are tastefully decorated with nice mutual colors that give that nice relaxing vibe, plenty of space to move around as well. Room has everything you need for a awesome stay, my room was large and extremely comfortable, the balcony was a good spot to relax and unwind any time of the day. The bar and restaurant is brilliant, has a wide range for the buffet breakfast which tasted fresh and well cooked. Check-in and check-out was a breeze with no issues for both. Enjoyed my stay, and will definitely be back the next time I am in Wellington. A few nights was definitely not long enough”
“Best Thai I have ever had. Great food, good prices, nice people. Super authentic.”
“My always stay in Welly. Some rooms have been upgraded and are lovely others very tired but lovely and clean. Parking, bar and restaurant on site and a courtesy coach.”
“Great place, and the sales lady Zoe was brilliant!”
“Go there often for lunch. Great variety of food. Bento, Subway, spice traders, and more”
“I'm 36 years old and I have shopped a lot in my life. In different countries and many shops and today I had a totally unique experience. Janet ( the lady who was working today) blew my mind. She picked out clothes for me. Took it to the dressing room. Swopped out sizes for me while I was fitting. She found me the perfect pair of pants to help with my post maternity body. Janet, I walked In feeling defeated and walked out feeling great. Thank you. You are an asset to this shop! ❤️”
“I always come to this Dairy from the uni campus next door. The staff are so friendly. Today, the man really made my day with his good service and kindness. Thank you.”
“A gem in Miramar. They have some dishes that you can't find in other Thai restaurant, such as the chicken wing stuffed with minced pork and vermicelli (wow), and sum tum salad, which has sliced deep fried chicken/beef and lettuce aside (wow). Though their Tom Yum soup is very average. So I guess it depends what you order. And the bar is really good, the Lemon, lime & bitters only costs $3.”
“We lunched at St Pierre for a quick shopping lunch of brown rice tuna avocado sushi and Katsu chicken on rice and Te food was delicious not to mention, we received fantastic customer service AND managed to get a table!”
“I spoke with a lady named Lara , who had patience and took her time explaining to me what I didn't understand until i understood , she involved abit of humor to make the call more easy going, which I appreciated and was just lovely to work with over the phone with her. She helped me get what I was looking for and made all the benefits of AA aware to me which makes me want to stay with AA. I'd recommend her for anyone needing to speak to AA about insurance for their vehicle. Thanks again Lara, Cheers Adam W”
