The price is quite high, but at 4 pm they give a huge discount to clean up the stocks of the day. The service is quite good and fast but the taste isn't that good. The food looks good but the taste isn't up to what it looks like, its far from it.
Food is always good, and often made fresh too! Some pieces are a bit too big and flimsy to eat, like the dragon chicken sushi you can often find, but it still tastes great! If I happen to have extra money, this place is a great place to treat myself, but if you're low on money I'd recommend going to another place on the campus.
The quality is below student average. $17 for 8 terrible sushi. I rather eat dog food.
The sushi is good but none of their packaging is recyclable. And they serve thousands of people per day. Please change your packaging, you and wishbone are the only ones that are still using plastic.
The most unsustainable food shop at Vic uni. Hundreds and thousands of single-use plastic containers end up directly in the rubbish bins. Sushi containers quickly fill the bins around campus, dominating the waste spectrum. Despite single-use plastic containers being banned since oct 2022, they still pack their sushi in such containers. Unlawful.
Quite expensive. They give you a too small portion of soy sauce. But the meal was good enough.
As a student sushi is the perfect thing between classes. Its cheapish, it's good, and I don't have to wait for it to cook. The best part is that past 4-5 the prices go down, which is perfect when you have late classes
