Lovely stay and the owner is very very kind. Spacious and comfortable with kitchenette, desk, and lounge area. Very clean and the water pressure was great! Our room was lovely and warm, a nice welcome after a full day of driving. I’ve stayed at many motels across New Zealand and I really liked this one the most, it had good calm energy. It was tucked away and felt nice and cosy. Yes, there’s a train but I didn’t mind it as I knew what I was getting myself into.

I stayed here on a school trip for a few days, and I LOVED the venue. The owner was really really nice, and it's super close to so many places like supermarkets and places to shop. The rooms were not what I expected at all for this price - they looked like a full-on house! 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen area, living room, 2 tv's, huge wardrobe, 2 floors... it was great! The train station bur right behind my room, and they never woke me up. Weren't as loud as some people say. But if they are, earplugs can be bought from pretty much any shop, right?

Over night stop over on way to Christchurch, room was nice and clean, bed super comfy, only downside to room was it smelt a little bit musty from been closed up, no complaints though, service was very good and location was good, only 15 minutes to the ferry terminal

We had a really positive stay. We originally booked for one night and changed for two nights. The owner was lovely on the phone and provided all information before arrival. Great check in experience with a glass bottle of milk which I prefer as less wastage. We were taken to our king room where the air con was on for us so the room was warm and inviting. The bed had an electric blanket which was fabulous, nice and comfy bed and pillows. Parking was easy and close to our room. Yes there is a train that goes by and no it wasn't a problem, it's just part of life. Great shower pressure and big towels which were a welcoming bonus. Fresh towels were delivered each day when the room was serviced. The room was clean and had a great little kitchen with everything you needed. Check out was nice and easy. We will definitely be back. Everything only a short drive away and nice and close to get on to the motor way.

Nice tidy units an very modern, was a bit disappointed by the absence of a spa but otherwise was good, price bit steep we thought but hey, it is what it is

Highly Recommend!! What a lovely Studio unit! Tastefully appointed with everything you need for a brief stay. Lovely shower room. Comfy bed, heat pump to keep the room at just the right temperature and spotlessly clean. It felt really cosy - like a little home away from home. Hart extended the warmest welcome and ensured I knew where everything was/ how things worked. Location is great especially for Kenepuru/ Porirua. Yes the train track is close by but not many trains and I wasn't disturbed by any noise. I would definitely stay here again. Great value too! Especially if you book directly.

Group of 8 of us booked a motel room here with 4 single beds and 2 double beds. All guests travelled from different parts of the North Island. When we arrived, we were unexpectedly advised that the room we had booked and paid for was only suitable for “5 people”. When I questioned the reception lady about the fact there were enough beds to accommodate all guests, she told me it was not suitable for all of us and we would be too crammed. She then went on to ask for further payment of $169 from us for the room we had already paid for. She also said that if we were to go somewhere else, we would not be refunded the $700 we had spent. Given that there was no other accommodation available, this was our only option. The interesting part of this whole story is the fact that once we paid the extra bill, the motel room suddenly became suitable for 8 people. The lady even told me I was a good boy for paying up the extra cash! Other than that, clean and tidy rooms, good location, would not recommend.
