Txt and website and contact centre said I didn't need an appointment to get my sons xray done. Walk in and reception asks me if I want to book an appointment cause they can't take a walk in today since too many people want xrays. Anyways.
After being given the incorrect referral forms by our doctor, what could have been a nightmare was sorted with minimal fuss. Jenny went above and beyond to help us out. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Pacific Radiology have an absolute gem at the face of their business.

Multiple times have I been picked up late for my ultrasounds due to staff closing office at lunch time and then reopening it after the time my appointments were scheduled, sometimes for 10-15 minutes at a time and I would have to wait outside in the cold. On top of this, I had issues receiving my scans from staff (unsure if this was on my end or theirs) however when I requested my scans be sent out to me, they tried to shut me down and say they were already sent, advised them I had not yet received any and as this is the case, I will not be paying for my scans upfront anymore until this issue is resolved, they then refused to see me on the date of my last scan with them (due to me refusing to pay up front, normally they would just invoice me and Iād pay via internet banking later that day) so I cancelled the appointment and had my midwife refer me to Horizon instead which was 10x better.
Staff openly discuss your issues in the front waiting room in front of other customers, staff are cold are rude and lack the relevant knowledge and sympathy to be employed in this line of work, I will also be laying an official complaint with the Ministry.
A nice place to have x-rays with friendly helpful staff in Porirua I also found out my doctor should have let me know there would be a charge as I am not on a Comnunity services card
The staff are always doing the best they can. Everytime I've been there, it's been a quick in and out
Friendly enough. The waiting room has one of those TV's playing slides of 'funny things' which is a bit weird.
