“It was an excellent culinary experience. The owner was extremely welcoming. The Indian food as well as the lamb was amazing. I highly recommend stopping by. The menu was very diverse, so, if you have a group that has difficulty finding a restaurant, this may be the place for you. The interior was nice and kept clean.”

“I recently visited Extra Extracafe and was genuinely impressed. The coffee was rich and flavorful, brewed to perfection, and the food was equally delightful—fresh, well-prepared, and full of taste. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made the experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. A great spot for both a quick coffee break and a relaxed meal. “Lovely place for date night !! We did the "first table" deal and worked great for us. We tried quite a few items of the menu and had great savings. I would absolutely recommend the fish crudo, the Rib eye and the truffle gnocchi. I know is a meat restaurant, but let me say the gnocchi was one of the best I've had; the onion soubise was espectacular, airy and tasty. In general the sides were ok, Caesar salad was good AND the puré as well, would probably not order the mushrooms again. Desserts were good, specially the tiramisú. Would've appreciated a chocolate option as well... The service by the two french ladies was perfect! Attentive and professional. Would recommend !”

“You look fore something special, this place is special. The location inside the Beehive is superb. The flair is just delightful, and then there is the food. The set menu was very, very nice. The flavors superb, the freshness and the combination of textures first class. This place is a notch better than the Logan Brown where it belongs to. And I do not know if I have found a better place in New Zealand so far. I will come back, for sure.”

“Great vegan indian meal in Wellington! The service was amazing and the lunch deal is just great value for money. I followed the advice of the waiter and ordered Kadai Soya and it was just amazing. The vegan roti could be improved but still tasty. There are some construction works outside but didn't really bother during the meal. Highly recommend it!”

“I came to Antalya Kebab House for lunch, and I really enjoyed it. The kebab was big, had a nice amount of meat and veggies, and the hot sauce was nicely spicy. The chips were nice as well, and I appreciated the student discount. Will be returning.”

Perfect takeaways to enjoy a sunny afternoon on the waterfront. Andres the chef who hails from Mexico is an absolute cracker.”

“A good place for beers after work, good selection of beers thar are regularly updated. Expect it to be busy if its straight after work, with it being quieter a couple of hours after. Don't forget to sample the beers if you aren't sure whether you like it, staff are helpful and knowledgeable”

The design of the shop captures a lovely New York vibe that's unique to Wellington, making each visit a special experience. However, I must address a recent review that was posted under my name. Unfortunately, my account was hacked, and that review was entirely untrue. I sincerely apologize for any confusion it may have caused. “Absolutely loved our dinner at Curry Pot! The flavors were authentic, rich, and perfectly spiced. We ordered the butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, and garlic naan — every bite was heavenly. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. It’s now our go-to Indian restaurant in town!”

“The staff here are amazing, we were helped by Katherine. We are based in Auckland and were searching for an animal rocker to gift to family in wellington. These were not available online so we had to get in person. Knowing we were flying to wellington she held the rocker for a week and even sent us pictures of it via email to confirm it was the model we wanted. It was the only one left im the country. When we visited she still let us check we were happy to purchase and gave us a gift exchange reciept. Its the best customer service we had experienced over the phone and in person. Thanks”

The initial portions were so generous we didn’t need to ask for more, and all the ingredients were delicious. The service was excellent, very helpful when we were deciding how much to order! “Dined here for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! My friend and I got a medium big chicken pizza to share and it was so good! The place was very popular and the counter staff were friendly. Only downside to the experience was when I ordered a lemon meringue cheesecake and it was served to me still frozen so I had to have it takeaway, also we ordered garlic bread but they didn’t have any . Would definitely go back for the pizza though!”

“Great service and great prices! They're the only bottle store I know of that carry Yankee Bourbon Co. brand spirits. What's so great about that? All their 1 liter spirits (vodka, rum, gin, whisky, etc) are just $30! And 37% at that; not bad!”
