   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for Machete Coffee Shop. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and inviting, making it a fantastic spot for everyone. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and I’m always impressed by their excellent service. Their menu offers a variety of meals that cater to all dietary requirements, and I love that they keep it fresh and seasonal with exciting new options. The design of the shop captures a lovely New York vibe that's unique to Wellington, making each visit a special experience. However, I must address a recent review that was posted under my name. Unfortunately, my account was hacked, and that review was entirely untrue. I sincerely apologize for any confusion it may have caused. Machete Coffee Shop is a place I truly admire, and I can assure you that my experiences there have been nothing but positive. Thank you for all that you do, and I look forward to my next visit!

   We had a hot chocolate, iced mocha and banana bread. The hot chocolate was fine. The iced mocha was a little hard to drink with the huge amount of ice but other than that was fine. The banana bread was a little disappointing as it was served cold and butter cost extra. Would potentially give it another shot and order menu food instead. The aesthetic inside was really nice and the staff seemed friendly. Was slightly overpriced, $6 for the slice of banana bread, $6 for the mocha.

   Nice place for a quiet chat over hot chocolate. My hot chocolate was deliciously spiced. Pleasantly surprised about that. The Cheese Scone though was not bad but not fragrant enough.

   Love this place. Fantastic coffee and friendly staff. Finally had the chance to try the food today and was fresh, tasty and well presented. Edit: back again 11 months later. Coffee, food and service all still brilliant!
