They can't be bothered to change business hours on Google. Showed up at 10pm even though hours say they close at midnight. Staff sitting there enjoying a beer behind locked doors. A shame as I'm visiting from out of town and rely on the Google info being up to date.
A good place for beers after work, good selection of beers thar are regularly updated. Expect it to be busy if its straight after work, with it being quieter a couple of hours after. Don't forget to sample the beers if you aren't sure whether you like it, staff are helpful and knowledgeable
Very busy when I first arrived which was about 6pm but thinned out after about an hour. Good range of beers and quick service for food.
Another warm and inviting venue in Wild, Windy and Wet Wellington. Great decor, comfortable furnishings and friendly and informative staff. (PS. The beer was great!)
Busy central bar and restaurant serving a great range of beers, drinks, and casual dining options. Small outdoor area also available at the front and back of bar.
Stalwart in Willis St for some of the best craft beer in Wellington. Nice viewing, beer drinking area facing the street too. A regular for me.
Was ready to order some drinks but the poor customer service from one of the workers turned us away. It looks like the atmosphere could be good but there are better places to go for a drink in Wellington with great service.
It's a hugely popular drinking hole in the city with a great range of beers. Always ask for the prices of the beers but if you're not concerned with that, you'll have a fun time of discovering new flavours. The food was tasty and the service was engaging and efficient.
Itβs brand new place and itβs good to have the choice here it is a real asset and would be a good choice for a drink after work. Hugely popular, it was packed, service is great, you can get something to eat and drink. They must be doing something right here.
Nice place but one of the worst food experiences I have ever had to endure both taste and value for money. We ordered the sun fed vegan chicken lettuce cups, margarita pizza and chips . Total of $52. The salad / lettuce cups were $18. ( fairly pricey but ok if you get an enjoyable salad ) I asked for vegan chicken to be swapped out for real chicken, which the chief kindly agreed to but when the plate arrived, there was literally 3 tea spoon sized scraps of chicken on the plate. In addition to this the lettuce was old, dry and missing the apple Mayo dressing. The main ingredient was so sugary walnuts which were gross, just put real walnuts on this .,See attached photos. Itβs nice that there is a supposedly a healthy option offered on the menu but people donβt want to be served rotten produce , just because itβs a pub. You may as well remove it off the menu. It would be more honest . This would have gone back if Iβd not been on my lunch break. The margarita pizza my husband ordered was also the most tasteless margarita heβs ever had and heβs orders this dish all over Wellington. Wrong and cheap cheese used and old tomatoes. Best part of the experience was the lovely staff and the chips . I guess this is then just a beer pub with a nice fit out. Lesson learned.
