“These guys know how to get repeat business. They do everything right (in my book), and completely worthy of their high rating. Their service is impeccable. The location is handy, in the Central Parade block of shops just down from New World and Z petrol station. Easy drive in, most the time grabbing a park close by or out the front. They have a great menu covering all your kiwi fish n chip classics, burgers and Chinese selections we’ve come to expect in NZ. Their online ordering system is super quick and easy to use. Added bonus, a 10% discount coupon for online orders over $15 ✅ Even if you don’t order online, you won’t be waiting long. Did I mention they do coffee too? And free wifi (NZ establishments are mostly slow on that one). Our favourites for Friday night takeaways; Gurnard or Terakihi which comes in a light batter with a hint of lemon and herb salt. Always fresh. Good chunky chips, a cheeky hot dog and spring roll always go down a treat. Their Nasi Goreng is the best Ive had in NZ, and their wonton or dumpling noodle soup too. Its 5-stars all the way from me. I recommend Central coast takeaway to anybody who asks which is what spurred me to write a review. Credit where credit is due as Nan always said, and these guys deserve the credit… best takeaways in the Bay!”

“I’ve been a loyal customer of Show Dogs for many years, and I can confidently say they offer the best pet grooming experience around. My two dogs, a Maltese and a very spirited Yorkshire Terrier, have always been in the best hands with Flavio and Carol. The level of care, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals that they show is truly unmatched. My Yorkie, who can be quite challenging to groom, always looks fantastic after a session with them. “Staying in our motorhome we must say we were impressed. From the check ✅ in, with Kirsten, and the advice and help we received from the start. A beautiful Holiday Park with everything so clean and tidy. The playground too, is well thought out for childrens pleasure during their stay. Very handy to the beach and rolling surf, our two small dogs were in heaven when we all went down to the sand. It is fantastic that the dogs are allowed to be with us on holiday during the off season. The showers were nice and hot water aplenty. A friendly little bunny was not at all worried about two highly excited dogs because it sat just outside their wire fenced yard and teased them. In all a great place to stay and we will be back. “Great veterinary practice. Have also been to the other clinics in Thames and found this to be the best of them. Could have lost a star due to an incident that occurred when I was there. Said incident was not a direct fault of the practice but could have been easily avoided with better planning. Issue was however dealt with swiftly and we now consider them our pets vets.”

“I love getting certain groceries here. Not just is it environmental friendly since you can bring your own (reusable) containers (something you can buy here too btw!) but they are also extremely friendly and helpful. I usually get things like wheat, cereals or brewing supplies and I found it to be either cheaper or at least at the same price supermarkets charge. Always a good choice to come here first before going down to countdown ;-)”
