I ordered two rugs from NZ Tack, online at the price listed at the time of purchase. The next day I was told the price had increased and they could no longer supply the rugs at the original advertised price by email. When I contacted NZ Tack, I spoke with Sharni, who laughed at my complaint. To make matters worse, I was given multiple conflicting stories about why the price increased—first saying the rugs were not in stock, then claiming they were still available online at the higher price but needed to be ordered? All very confusing! This level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism is really very unacceptable. It’s poor practice to advertise a price and then refuse to honour it, especially after I already committed to the purchase. They need to do a much better job in handling such situations with honesty and respect not just sending back a refund! Despite having purchased from here before for my two horses I will steer clear in the future.
