   This team is absolutely incredible. I brought in my beloved cat to be cremated and mentioned I never got to take any of his fur. Jamie went above and beyond and gave me a full bag of his fur before the cremation. That meant more to me than I can ever express. In one of the hardest moments of my life, they showed true compassion, patience, and care. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

   We took our sick kitten Jason to Tauranga Vets and were so impressed with the care he received. Dana was professional, kind, and very transparent in explaining everything to us, which made a stressful time much easier. She also gave us really clear advice on what to monitor overnight, what warning signs to look out for, and where to take him if he needed extra care. Jason was later discharged by Lucy, who was so clever in the way she made him feel comfortable while taking his temperature and doing checks. The rest of the team were also incredibly supportive and friendly. Highly recommend Tauranga Vets for their outstanding care and compassion.

   Amazing service recieved by all of the team we have dealt with. Our dogs surgery was more complicated than we thought and we had some complications but we couldn’t fault the work of the team. Supporting us with dressing changes and offering our dog treats to help, supporting us with phone calls and emails when needed. Highly recommend the team.

   Tauranga Vets feels like a home away from home for us and our pets. Their clinic is a modern, stylish space that's as comforting as a cozy living room. You can tell they've put a lot of thought into making it a place where both animals and their humans feel relaxed. The vets and nurses are like family to our cat. They're incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients. It's heartwarming to see the bond they form with animals, and it puts us completely at ease. Their passion for their work is infectious. The reception team is always a friendly face to greet us. They're helpful, efficient, and make us feel like valued clients. It's clear they love animals as much as we do.

   Out family would love to say thank you to all the staff who cared for one of our family members Dennis after he was struck by a car. They made sure we were fully informed and kept up to date as to how he was doing throughout his assessment, treatment, surgery and post surgery. Sadly Dennis lost his leg and tail but we were confident on the advice given to us by his vet that as a young cat, he would be fine. Again thank you so much for all your help.

   After rushing my dog back to my usual vet (not this vets) due to his unwellness and being told he was on his way out. I requested further investigation into what was going on. I was referred to tauranga vets, upon arriving they rushed my dog through for an ultrasound and I waited patiently. The staff were respectful and professional the whole way. Getting updates as it was necessary. Once full diagnosis had been done we recieved the dreaded news and were given the time to spend with him before the needle. Today I picked up his ashes and was grateful they had taken the time to honour my husband's strange request as well as get paw prints. Thanks team for your professionalism throughout this whole experience. We are forever grateful.

   Never again! Appalling quality of care. I was shocked and disappointed. Tauranga Vets failed to examine or assess my cat appropriately resulting in a misdiagnosis which went on to cost hundreds of dollars at a more reliable vet clinic. When I provided feedback to Tauranga Vets, their staff lied about what had occurred despite not having any documentation or clinical notes to support their claims. They refused to offer an apology or compensation. As a health professional myself I was horrified by their conduct.

   Really really bad experience with these vets. Asked one of the male vets to trim my dogs nails during an appointment and left with a dog with 2 bleeding paws. He was cutting the nails way too short to the point where nearly every single nail was bleeding. Blamed it on the nails being too long. However, never in 6 years have my dogs nails bled so profusely while being trimmed no matter how long. My dog was clearly in a lot of pain and was terrified. I asked the vet many times to stop and just let me hold my dog. He did not. I told him many times that my dog was bleeding too much and asked him clearly to stop and that I would get them done from elsewhere just for him to continue and give the excuse of the nails being too long. There was way too much blood on the table and it took me a very long time even after returning from the vets to get the bleeding to stop as the vets could not stop it. Very very bad experience and would not recommend or go back.
