“Very very great hospitality and service. The owners really do make you feel welcome, and they always took the extra step to make sure my family and I were sorted and comfortable. The neighbors were very quiet no loud noises in the night or anything. Awesome location close to every necessity. Great back outdoor section to walk around. And they even also have a pool and spa pool. 10/10 experience in all departments of our 1 week stay.”

“I stayed here for 1,5 month and it has been a great experience! Loved the mount, loved the staff, hostel was clean and well maintained. A little pricy but worth the cost. Close to the beach and not too far from the bars. I really enjoyed my stay here and it will always have a place in my heart! The only feedback I have is that the bunk beds are wobbly and only the bottom bunk has curtains.”

“We were so lucky when we found this place. Impeccably clean, great size room for 2 with 2 large suitcases and location was perfect for restaurants and bars within a very short walk down the street. Tui the manager was very helpful. We have no issue in highly recommending this motor inn.”

“EXCELLENT We stayed one night and wished we had stayed longer. Large, quiet, well appointed unit with a big comfortable bed and seating. Large screen TV and the lovely cool pool was a bonus on a hot day. Short walk to beach. Takeaways and convenient store across the road. Very good value. Would stay again.”

“Reading the reviews, I was worried about the service here, but it wasn't nearly as bad as people have posted. Only real concern is that I didn't realize we had to be there by 1900 for check in. Accidently got there right on time. We had the penthouse and the views were spectacular, not to mention the fully equipped kitchen, wrap around deck with glass doors that open up all the way to provide an unobstructed view. Each room and a bathroom so no arguments about space. Private parking is very convenient. In room laundry was great.”

“We had a great stay. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful which was appreciated. The security was brilliant with keyed access only and a car park which was undercover and secure. Location was close to shops but far enough away to remove ourselves from the crowds. A leisurely 5 minute stroll down to all the restaurants and bars which was great. 2 min walk to beach - amazing. Thanks for hosting us and see you again soon”

“Super clean and spacious. I stayed in a studio & it had its own private patio out back. The thermal pool was great, the grounds are immaculate. Really friendly and accomadating hosts. Carpark is right in front of your room and the wait for uber to location is not super long (less than 10min when not peak). Would stay again.”

“A great bach to stay in while you are Tauranga. Immaculately presented, spotlessly clean and attention to detail. Refrigerator, toaster and microwave, kettle, coffee, tea, fresh milk, glasses plates and cutlery. Air-conditioning with an internal heatpump and outstanding water pressure in a large hotel like shower. An extremely comfortable bed with high quality cotton sheets and pillowcases. Duvet if you need one. A patio rounds off an excellent cozy and quiet location. Easy communication and entry. Highly recommended and excellent value. 5 stars.”

“Great facilities, room was super clean & hosts were very friendly. A little bit on the outskirts but only a short drive to town. Close to the train tracks - trains travelling through the evening / night & could be disruptive if you're a light sleeper. However we weren't inconvenienced by it.”

“We really loved our stay at the Atrium Apartments. Our apartment had lovely sea views to wake up to every day. Everything was clean and tidy. The apartment was fully self-contained with fridge, washing machine, and dryer. We loved being in walking distance to the Mount, beach, spa pools, shops, and restaurants.”

“I was very impressed with City Suites accommodation when I stayed there recently. A nice host, who dealt patiently with my lack of technology knowledge. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom, and a kitchenette with all the necessary equipment. The huge bed was very welcoming, and as soon as my head hit the pillows, I slept like a log until woken by alarm clock in the morning. A big plus was the locked basement carpark, and a lift to help get my luggage to my room on first floor. Not only that, there were also luggage trolleys like at airports, which I've never come across before at accommodation, and both the trolley and lift were a great relief for me as senior lady. Also I felt very safe when I had to go to my car at 11pm for something that I'd forgotten. Another bonus was that it was just a short walk to the Cafe on the Strand for a delicious breakfast and nice view of the sea. I recommend you try them too. All in all I'd love to stay at City Suites again, and highly recommend it to others. It's well deserving of the five stars I'm giving it. Thank you city suites for a very pleasant stay!”
