My family had a great stay here. Booked a family suite for the night last minute on our way home to auckland. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and clean. Reception was very helpful and friendly also. Great location, close to the supermarkets and bakery. Will be coming to stay again in future.
We had a fantastic stay. The reception were super friendly, housekeeping also. The room was spacious and clean. Loved that there was kitchen facilities in the room and a microwave. I enjoyed a beautiful bath again the bathroom was spacious. Heard nothing from any neighbouring rooms and had free car parking. 2 minute walk from where we needed to be. Will definitely stay again.
Don't ever come to this place if you have kids. Especially an autistic child. Was about to check in, everything was going alright. Then she asked if my kids were noisey and I told her my child is autistic so sometimes she can be very loud. She told me that was unacceptable. As if I had to keep my child quiet all day while being in the room we paid for? Kids will be kids. Made me really mad!
The room was easy to access and the spa was a nice touch. However, cleanliness could be improved. We noticed small groups of ants in every roomβincluding the bedroom, main room, and bathroom. There were also a few strands of unidentified hair on the beds, which was a bit off-putting.
We were so lucky when we found this place. Impeccably clean, great size room for 2 with 2 large suitcases and location was perfect for restaurants and bars within a very short walk down the street. Tui the manager was very helpful. We have no issue in highly recommending this motor inn.
Thanks for a lovely clean room with everything I needed (salt and pepper and a flat spatula for the kitchen would be a bonus too
Rooms are always nice and clean. Good parking. Location ideal for shops and restaurants. Big thanks to Tui on reception. She is always nice, chatty, and always very helpful.
Was over priced, was asked to pay a $200 bond have never had to do that before at any other motel that I have stayed at, they stated there would be a complementary bottlr of filter water in fridge, wasn't supplied, there was black mould on roof, when getting my bond back did mention this to owner his response was "you don't need to worry about that", was shocked at owners response Will not be going back there
Great location, very close to shops. The room I had was clean and well maintained, but the facilities is a bit aged, especially the bed, the mattress was turning soft.
Unit was ok. Shower curtain smelled. I was asked to pay a $200 Bond?? Extremely annoyed, never had to pay a bond at any other motel I've stayed at. My credit card is suffice. And I will get my bond back 7 days later, if there are no damages. Is this the normal or maybe they only ask those based on the colour of their skin. Blatant racism at its finest. Then their was domestic violence in a unit & randoms in other units that looked dodgy. I asked owner if motel is Emergency Housing, she said No. I do not believe her. I will never stay here again & I expect my bond money back.
