Excellent stay at Blue Haven Motel, Mount Maunganui. Katy is a fantastic host and her communication was spot on. Travelling with a three-year-old and a six-month-old isnβt always easy, but this place was just right for our little family. Thanks for making our trip that much more memorable. Keep up the great work β weβll definitely be back one day!
Blue Haven is an older motel but very well maintained. At the front desk Lee and Karty were super friendly and helpful showed us down to the room and even asked if we wanted a hand with our bags. very quiet rooms well appointed and super clean we were so impressed we decided to stay an extra night. we will be staying here again in the future
Just spent 14 niΔhts at Blue Haven motel, what a great setup, clean spacious apartments, well equipped with oven, fridge freezer, kettle toaster & microwave , great hosts, so friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It's in a great location just a short Bus ride from Mount Maunganui & Tauranga surrounded by an assortment of supermarket, small shops bars takeaway, & a short walk from the beach, I would definitely use this motel again
A WARM WELCOME. Perfect for us as a couple. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Lovely linen. Off street parking a BIG tick. Plus, it was handy to Mt Maunganui Rugby Club, where we attended a function. It is very highly recommended.

Our room was scrupulously clean and beautifully presented - also a warm heater and very comfy bed waiting for us ! Obviously a lot of pride is taken in this property. It was a pleasure and we will stay again.
Blue Haven is well maintained, clean, perfectly located and professionally run. Five minutes drive to Mt Maunganui, five minute walk to the beach and a shiny, new New World literally across the street - all due to it's great location. The next time we visit Tauranga, we will book here again.
As another guest said "A Hidden Gem" ... Stayed three nights and would have loved to stay more. Clean, fresh, and well appointed for anything you'd want and need for a super relaxed motel. Great beds and bedding. Sunshine-full outdoor area for each unit. Parking in front of each unit. Lovely staff. Really close to amenities (supermarket, bakery, deli, medical centre, pharmacy, a number of restaurants, grocer) and in walking distance of beach and other attractions. Thanks Craig and Blue Haven - we enjoyed our time with you! So glad we came ... Don't get too popular else we'll never find availability next time ... Lol no, but seriously, keep up your wonderfully welcoming ambience :) ... we'll be coming back for sure!
