Room not worth $182 a night. It needs refurbishing with old decor. Lino stained. One bedside lamp not plugged in and the other one faulty (flashes on the brightest setting). No bed headboard. No heat pump. No bathroom fan. No toilet air freshener. No tissues. Only one ply loo paper. Wall clock was not working. Room not painted very well. Toilet door removed so it looked roomier. door hinges and the rusty door stop remain. my wife wanted to stay in a nice motel instead of an Airbnb. Will be booking Airbnb accommodation next time. Leana has contacted us regarding our review and has let us know that they are working on improving their units to being them up to a better standard. 4 now have air conditioners installed. They have taken onboard my comments and are fixing what they can to the unit we stayed in. Was great to receive the follow up call from Leana.

We needed a 'pet friendly' motel at VERY short notice and Roselands were SO accommodating. They allowed us to check in early, to work with the event we had, and they even upgraded our room so our dog had some space on the shared lawn area behind the unit. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. We will definitely be back. If you have a little dog/pet we totally recommend this accom. Thank you Roselands Motel. β‘ Only 4 stars for location because our event was in Papamoa, but if you want Tauranga it would be perfect.

A great group experience! Friendly, clean, comfortable and amazing access to beaches, shops and sports grounds. Highly recommended if you are a group and wanting a sports team experience. The back gardens worked really well where we could have group gatherings and meals together. Double washer and driers meant that I could easily wash and dry our sports teams' uniforms. A great find and I would go back with my sports teams again and again.

My partner and I stayed here two nights. Was good value for money. Like the idea of self check-in though you do still have to take the form to reception, but it's good to not have to worry about it immediately when you arrive. Even though the units are older, the bed was comfortable, pillows were great and everything was very tidy. Only downside for us is the water pressure in the shower is really not that great :-(

The place is comfortable and handy, we can go to the shopping centre in 5 mins, nice back yard. The staff are nice and you will be offered a bottle of milk for your morning coffee. However, it must be something mistake on the day we check in, the bathroom was not ready for us. For example, there is no issue except just the rubbish in the tissue box, shower gel was problem and rubbish bin is very tiny like a cup. Additional, there are no window in the room just a front door and a back door. That night after dinner we had to call manager night shift to fix them around 11pm or midnight. Well, Thank you for coming though.

This was a great stop. Had everything we needed and was clean. 1 suggestion would be to have a bolt on the sliding door to the carpark. Bit more secure and we have an adventurous 2 yr old. Was a worry. But was a brilliant place to stay
