“This is my daughter’s second daycare, and she started here at 2 years old. To my surprise, she loves Honey Bees from the very first day. we don’t even need a transition period! While I was a worried mum calling many times on her first day, she was super happy, settled quickly, and has made so many friends. She absolutely adores her teachers, especially Juliana, Marisa, and Nicolette. At home, she even copies Juliana and explains things to me just like her teachers do. Every morning she is welcomed with cuddles, smiles, and praise, which makes her so excited to go in. Since starting, she has also begun talking a lot more, which is amazing to see. All the teachers (Karen, Alana) are wonderful, caring, and always quick to reply to any emails or questions. My daughter truly loves Honey Bees and her teachers.”

They provide daily verbal updates about your child at the end of the day and monthly stories that highlight their progress. The staff take sickness seriously, keeping families informed about any illnesses at the preschool and encouraging caution to keep everyone safe. They also offer hot, healthy lunches along with morning and afternoon teas every day. Overall, it’s a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where both children and parents feel supported.”

“Best centre in the heart of Papakura and I highly recommend this kindy. First day visit to the centre and I already 100% thankful that I step foot in this centre. All staff are friendly and family orientated. They took extra mile and went beyond measure to meet the needs of the children even though all children has different needs. “We’ve had our 3 children in the care of Fantails Silverdale since 2018, and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The teachers are always so warm, caring, and dedicated to the children, which makes a huge difference in their development. It’s clear they’re genuinely passionate about creating a nurturing environment. The outdoor space is fantastic! There’s plenty of room for the kids to play and explore, and it’s a great feature of the centre. I also love that they have separate rooms for different age groups, so each child gets the attention and activities suited to their stage of development. Fantails organizes regular events that keep things fresh and exciting for the kids, from themed days to celebrations, and they always look forward to these. The extra activities they offer, like playball, swimming, and school visits, are a nice touch and give the children a variety of experiences beyond the typical classroom setting. What stands out most, however, is how the management truly listens to feedback. They are always open to suggestions and seem genuinely invested in improving the centre. “An excellent introduction to the seemingly daunting world of sailing. This course doesn't leave you stuck in the classroom all day, watching videos and looking at slideshows! The vast majority of the course is spent out on Wellington Harbour, learning through hands-on interaction with the boats. Yes, it can be a little bit full-on at times and some parts of my body hurt that I didn't know existed, but ultimately it is a rewarding and unique opportunity to gain essential skills in a fascinating sport and leisure activity.”

“After several years of training at the Wing Tsun Academy I can vouch for it being a friendly, embracing gwun - with a solid community of people from all walks of life. WTA takes kung fu seriously and doesn't cut corners; the Sifu's are uncompromising in their desire to create good martial artists and teach the Wing Tsun system. The Academy combines elements of traditional Shaolin kung fu with an emphasis on fitness, focus, confidence, and effective (non-trivial) martial arts application. I have enjoyed my time there very much and look forwards to many more years of training.”

“Over the years, I’ve tried many gyms, but this one stands out as the best. I really enjoy the 30 minute lunchtime classes - they keep me fit and motivate me to turn up and keep going. The trainers make the sessions both challenging and enjoyable. Highly recommend the classes if you are looking for a bit of motivation or a solid workout! The gym is not overcrowded so you don’t have to wait to use machines like at other gyms which is also great!”
