We’re so grateful we made the decision to send both of our kids to Fantail Daycare. The teachers are amazing – caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the children. The curriculum is well structured but still fun, and our kids are thriving and excited to go every day. It’s such a wonderful feeling knowing they’re in such good hands!

We absolutely love Fantails Silverdale. Our kid had initially gone to a daycare in Albany, but after a few teachers left we were desperate to locate a happy environment for him. The staff at Fantails are all professional, friendly and nurturing. Always with a welcoming smile, they have a structured schedule where our kid has learned a great variety of skills and he is having fun through it all. He has built strong friendships and shares his activities with excitement everyday. Even though we commute 30 minutes each way, it is worth it and will recommend to anyone.
I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible team at Fantails Silverdale. The difference in my child since joining has been nothing short of extraordinary. In just a few short months—right before transitioning to primary school—we saw such remarkable growth, both socially and emotionally. Having been through two other ECEs before this, I can genuinely say that Fantails Silverdale stands out in every way. The teachers are nothing short of amazing—so much love, care, and thoughtful teaching goes into each day. There’s a clear focus on preparing the children for school, but it's done in such a nurturing and supportive way that learning feels fun and natural. Fantails also does a fantastic job of keeping things fresh and exciting with regular themed days, events, and celebrations that the kids look forward to. The extra activities like playball, swimming, and school visits offer even more variety and learning beyond the typical classroom setting. A special mention must go to Gladys, the wonderful centre manager, whose leadership shines through in the warmth and positivity of the entire centre. The team has created a space that truly feels like an extension of our family. We’re so grateful for the care and dedication shown every day. We’ve had our 3 children in the care of Fantails Silverdale since 2018, and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The teachers are always so warm, caring, and dedicated to the children, which makes a huge difference in their development. It’s clear they’re genuinely passionate about creating a nurturing environment. The outdoor space is fantastic! There’s plenty of room for the kids to play and explore, and it’s a great feature of the centre. I also love that they have separate rooms for different age groups, so each child gets the attention and activities suited to their stage of development. Fantails organizes regular events that keep things fresh and exciting for the kids, from themed days to celebrations, and they always look forward to these. The extra activities they offer, like playball, swimming, and school visits, are a nice touch and give the children a variety of experiences beyond the typical classroom setting. What stands out most, however, is how the management truly listens to feedback. They are always open to suggestions and seem genuinely invested in improving the centre. It’s clear that they care about the families they serve. We couldn’t be happier with the care our kids are receiving at Fantails, and we highly recommend it to any family looking for a supportive, engaging, and professional early learning centre.
Old fashioned out dated learning methods. Not enough investment on good quality modern toys and activities for kids. No seperate room for the babies 1-2 . All under 2 years stays in one room and older kids don’t get much activities suitable for their age. Also it slows down their development. My baby didn’t like the centre and had tantrums every morning. When I shared with the management they ignored saying it’s age related issue. I’m so glad I listened to mommy instincts and changed her daycare. My baby’s behaviour changed straight away. She is a happy baby again. However, the management only cared about the money. It doesn’t matter how my baby screams when I turn the car to this daycare drive way, what we go through as parents they wanted me to pay $680 for not even using the service. Unfortunately I signed the agreement and I’m paying it. But if you are a new parent thinking of this centre do as many visits as you can before you signing up. So you can see whether your baby likes it or not also it will give you little more time to decide. I believe 3 short visits are not enough to see everything. Ps: my review doesn’t represent the lovely hardworking teachers.
Fantails is a fantastic daycare! Very clean with great teachers, the chef cooks delicious and nutritious food and everyone is very welcoming. I enrolled my daughter in 2016 until she went to school and now my son has been going here for nearly 4 years and I couldn’t ask for a better daycare. Please keep up the great job that you do
Fantails is an amazing place where provides great opportunities for my little one to explore and to learn. Teachers are all warm, friendly and professional. Their chief always provide nice fresh meals for children. My little one enjoys his day there and he absolutely loves all his teachers!
It is the highlight of my little ones day when we get in the car to go to Fantails, his excitement and joy is a confirmation that we have the best Childcare Centre in the area. Every single staff member at Fantails know the children and parents by name and we get greeted with warm open smiles daily. I now have my second baby attending as well and have two really happy and striving children thanks to the amazing teachers and staff. I would highly recommend Fantails Childcare.
Fantails is not just a day care to us , they are family ! Our little one runs in to class every morning and gives them all the biggest hugs - That's how much she loves going to school ! Warm and friendly , compassionate and fun as well as the delicious home cooked meals - That is the best way to describe Fantails Silverdale ! We love it and are very happy with our choice in daycare !
