“This is a really great store. The staff are lovely and they have so much variety from organic spices to charcoal toothpaste and everything in between. They have lots of bin products of course so you can refill your own containers. I like trying new products every time I go there - this time it was vanilla bean paste which I'm having in my porridge. Yum! They stock lots of natural health products like the zero waste, plastic free Go Bamboo cotton buds. So it's a great store if you're looking to make more conscious choices for yourself and the earth. I just refilled my empty vinegar bottle and will do the same with my ecostore shampoo etc once they are empty. Check it out :)”

“This is my favourite shop in Auckland... They have an extensive range of organic and natural products, including fresh produce, all pantry products, and supplements and skin/ hair care etc. I love that this shop is also independently owned. Highly recommended!”

“Best Pak n Save branch I've been too. Their bakery is excellent offering fresh cream doughnuts, Leamingtons etc that many other branches are limited on. Also some exclusive bargains here, not available at other stores and a 10 cent discount fuel voucher instead of the usual 6 cents. Well done!”

“It's a lot bigger than it looks like from the outside. The grill in front of the door makes it look like it's shut, but it is actually open. It has a big meat selection at very reasonable prices. Alongside the meat fridges you'll find very cheap and fresh veggies. I bought some beautiful crunchy capsicums for only 70c and a whole bag of eggplants for just $5. Beyond that are some pantry and freezer items. It's a big selection of interesting and different Asian products. It's well worth a visit!”

“Had an absolutely amazing experience here! My partner and I have been travelling around and both wish we would’ve found this place earlier, before leaving Auckland! We went there for breakfast twice, and the food (egg Benedict & bacon and tomato bagel) as well as coffee (I had both iced and normal flat white coffees) was amazing! AAA+++, I would love to go back again someday!”

“One of the last supermarkets in Auckland who actually still provide customer care and service. The range is good the store is clean, however you will find this in most supermarkets. The staff are awesome, friendly helpful and polite. Even the guy picking up the trolleys was friendly you just dont get this anymore well done to everyone great team really A++++”

“Reduced to clear were amazing. Like a lot of people I'd been searching for the BEGA brand cheese slices, in particular Super thin slices. 65% less fat. I've been making sausage in Filo with cheese slice on the top for over 20 years, my kids loved them. Now my Grandchildren do too. Supermarkets arn't importing them anymore from Australia. This lovely Lady, The Manager. Was wonderful, it's a first in policy, I got the carton with 32 packets. She has kindly received another 6 cartons. Go buy as many as you need”

“Surprising night in Habibi Cafe, I live 45 minutes away from the city, it’s the only cafe/shisha open 24/7, came to buy some tobacco, the owner generously asked if I would like to join him smoking, with out hesitation I said YES, staff are very nice and welcoming, recommend 110% Will be coming more often. “Celebrating our lovely daughter’s 6th birthday—and her very first birthday party—at this restaurant was the best decision we could have made! From the beginning, Rachel, the owner, was incredibly helpful, patiently answering all our questions and guiding us through the party planning process. The staff was beyond kind, making sure everything ran smoothly. The delicious buffet for adults, the fantastic kids’ menu, and the amazing outdoor playground made this place truly special. Everything was just perfect for us! A huge thank you to the staff for warmly accommodating 20 excited kids! “Ok...I have to admit, it was not my intention to come here. I was really looking for The Grove and since they were closed this was right next door and up stairs. What an adorable place with a variety of fresh foods, filtered water, charming ambiance and a full bar of coffee, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. No AC but the seating area is charming overlooking the near by park and church. And did I mention free wifi.”

“Came here for lunch the other day with a friend and I'm so glad I did. The workers were so friendly and polite, the food had big portions and were delicious. Star of the show was definitely the cake they sell. We got a slice of the green tea layered cake, the mango layered cake, and chocolate cheesecake. With the green tea crepe cake, they let the green tea be the main flavour, and not sugar which I often find a problem other cafes can't perfect. The mango layered cake had fresh mango layered between the crepes, and was both refreshing and sweet. Lastly, the chocolate cheesecake suprized me with how well they made such a simple concept so rich with flavour. Often, I find cafés make chocolate flavoured deserts to sweet, but they had a perfect balance of sweetness with the richness of the overall dessert. Overall, me and my friend definitely recommend this café to everyone, especially since they're open for many hours of the day!”

“Look at that inviting courtyard. What a great place for a meeting, a break or stop for office time in one of their booths. Plenty of space in the back with outdoors covered seating area too. Great coffee and eggs Benedict. Cafe at front and large bar inside. You need to look in deeper than just from the street entrance.”

“What an interesting little café, Vintage Café is. It has a real country vibe. Steady stream of customers. The menu is good and the food cabinet is inviting. The atmosphere was good, had the quiet hum of intense conservation, radio in the background, sounds of coffee being made, and intense chatter out in the kitchen. The service was excellent. Yes, there was a slight wait to be served, but then there was a number of customers being served and waiting for their coffee. The young lady making coffee did an amazing job and handled the pressure really well. My kāwhe was perfect, large cappuccino with choc (of course). Eggs Benedict with bacon was perfect (didn't stay long on the plate) and the mango smoothie, yum. All arrived promptly and were devoured just as promptly. It's definitely worth a visit, as is the gift shop next door.”
