“Absolutely love the food here! I always get the quesadillas and eat it all up every time. The service was also great, the staff were attentive and fast. The interior is nice and clean, just in the day there are a lot of wasps inside especially in the sunny areas near the windows.”

“Last night, after dinner was done, we went on a wild goose chase to find the holy grail of coffee and dessert spots - and boy, did we hit the mother lode with this place! The coffee was off the charts and the apple crumble was so divine it should have its own fan club - the chef is a culinary rock god! We also fell head over heels for the staff's super friendly vibes, especially Pranav, who's probably the nicest human on the planet. We ended up coming back for breakfast today and it was totally worth it - we can't recommend this place enough and we're already counting down the days until our next visit!”

“WOW, my 3rd visit to this establishment for celebrating birthdays and today a MOTHERS DAY high tea experience! This was outstanding, the wait staff really looked after our table despite the cheek I gave them all. The place settings and tea selection was first class, then came the delicious high tea style food plus hot savouries absolutely amazing and super delicious we managed to eat everything presented! After our feasting we all went for a stroll around the beautiful property, fantastic a wonderful place for wedding photo shoot! Oh and the venue of course. Thank you for the most enjoyable trouble free MOTHERS DAY celebration! No dishes or cleaning up required! “Been to this place for many years. Always awesome. Always satisfied. No surprise that there are always busy. On our last visit, unbeknown to us that the wait staff forgot about our food order. An observant manager spotted us looking around and checked on us. Quickly sorted the missing order. Come to apologize multiple times. We assured them that it’s all good. No problems. These things happened. The manager insisted not to charge us for the coffee. Wow. Not many managers and or restaurants would do this. 5 stars indeed.”

“A Cozy Experience at Ima Cuisine… Ima Cuisine is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm, cozy vibe and lovely lighting set the perfect mood for dinner. We started with the mezze platter…The pillowy, fresh pita paired beautifully with the creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, and smooth labneh. The pickled veggies added the perfect punch, and the falafel was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside—some of the best falafels I’ve had in a while. For mains, we shared the halloumi and chicken along with a variety of sides. I’m already planning my next visit—especially during the day so I can have their famous hot cross buns! If you're looking for comforting, authentic Middle Eastern flavours in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, Ima Cuisine is a must-visit. Highly recommend :)”

“**Great food, relaxing vibe, and excellent service** We stopped by Florrie McGreal's Irish Pub in Takapuna and had a great experience. We ordered the buffalo wings (next time we'll go for the hot ones—these were mild but still tasty), shoestring fries, the pulled pork burger, and the beef brisket burger. Everything was fresh and satisfying, especially the burgers which were full of flavour. Special shoutout to Nelli for her fantastic service—she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. We sat outside, which was perfect for a chill afternoon, watching the world go by. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a relaxed meal and good vibes.”

The store is spacious, fairly modern, and usually well-stocked, making it a popular choice for families and bulk shoppers. It keeps to the classic Pak’nSave model — low prices, minimal decor, and a focus on practicality over presentation — but the Albany location feels a bit more polished than some of the older ones. The layout is easy to follow, with wide aisles and clear signage, so you’re not bumping trolleys every few seconds. The shelves are usually full, especially earlier in the day, and there’s a decent range of both budget brands and the more well-known labels. Prices are, as expected, very competitive. You’ll find good specials across most departments, and if you’re shopping for a big household, it’s one of the better options to keep costs down. The fresh produce section is generally reliable. Some days the quality is top notch, other times it’s more average — pretty normal for Pak’nSave. The meat section offers good value and a decent selection, and the bakery is basic but has all the essentials. There’s also a reasonable selection of international foods, which reflects the local community well. Staff are usually friendly enough, though it’s mostly a self-service experience unless you go looking for help. Checkout times are fairly efficient, with a good number of lanes open during busy periods and a decent set of self-service checkouts for smaller shops. The carpark is big, but it does fill up, especially on weekends. That said, it’s well laid out and doesn’t feel like a fight to find a spot, even when it’s busy. Being close to other stores and amenities makes it easy to combine errands in one trip. One thing to note, like at other Pak’nSaves, is that what’s advertised online might not always match what’s in store, so it’s worth shopping with a bit of flexibility. All up, Pak’nSave Albany is a good choice if you want decent prices, a clean store, and enough space to do a full shop without feeling crammed in. It’s practical, reliable, and does exactly what you’d expect — no frills, just solid savings.”
