Your basic New Zealand grocery store - fairly clean, staff mostly helpful…. But this specific store doesn’t sell alcohol. I asked for the wi e section, and the employee yelled THIS IS A DRY ZONE! Geez - the people here need relax…. And have a drink!
Best Pak n Save branch I've been too. Their bakery is excellent offering fresh cream doughnuts, Leamingtons etc that many other branches are limited on. Also some exclusive bargains here, not available at other stores and a 10 cent discount fuel voucher instead of the usual 6 cents. Well done!
Competitive prices, even comparing to other paknsave supermarkets. Much larger than the ones close to my home and much busier. Plenty of parking, but I found getting in and out a tad more difficult on Sunday afternoon. The supermarket has a large variety of fresh produce and fair prices , especially in their meat and fish department. The isles are wide and clean and many staff working who are available to answer questions. The deli department was slightly grumpy, as I asked for a slice of champagne ham and even before the person put gloves on to serve she kept asking is that all? Is that all? I got confused my the snap question, so I answered that’s all and promptly left. Felt unwelcome there. The test was really nice though.

Consistently a good Pak n'Save. Spacious, lots of parking, cheapest petrol around, plenty of checkouts so minimal wait. I do choose to do my shopping at off-peak times and it's always great. It's further to drive to than my local, byt it's worth it.
Love this shop. Very clean and it's easy to find what l need. They just need to have enough checkouts open during peek hour, that's the only improvement they need. One time I forgot my purse at hone, they checked all my groceries, shower me the receipt and saved my groceries. Later l returned to pay and took my groceries. Saved me time of queuing and lm picking up groceries again. Plenty of parking too.
Unpleasant experience from the express checkout lane staff. Rather rude and unhelpful. Had an obnoxious food sample lady near the chiller area as well. Stock is alright. Prices aren’t as good as other paknsave stores. Overall, terrible experience.
This place is absolutely huge with an amazing selection. The parking lot is huge so you have to trek a bit occasionally if you are there when it is super busy. I've never had to wait in line for too long even when it is super busy which is quite amazing for how busy it can get on the weekend!
I saw my mate Barry and we had a yarn at the Deli counter. It was great!
