“We went to Target Moorhouse shop today evening to buy some furniture. The sales assistant served us was very helpful. His name was ANDY. He really knew what he was doing and was very efficient. He was really helpful to mix and match chairs with the pretty dining table we were after carrying all the chairs here and there.Had a pleasant experience in the shop today., we bought a lot of items today and hope to buy more furniture in the future. “Riverhead Montissori is and has been an amazing daycare for my three children. Reminiscent of a kindy, with a well loved environment and wholesome teaches, while still maintaining the child/teacher ratio and morning routine of a traditional Montissori daycare. The centre is well run and flexible, Rachel in admissions is seemingly always available and accomodating. Due to its community values and small country setting I feel that my children have very personalised care. For our family in particular we appreciate that there is always a very calm and happy atmosphere at drop off, I feel that this encourages my children to start a piece of work and allow me to leave without them getting overwhelmed or sad. My children also enjoy the mix of ages within the classrooms, being able to learn from those older than them and care/teach those who are younger. We cannot recommend Riverhead Montissori enough.”

It’s so sad to have our son’s Kindercare journey come to an end, but we can see the values, self-confidence and self-worth you have all helped to develop and strengthen in him as he navigates making new friends, tackling new challenges and making the big transition to school. He has made such wonderful friends through his journey (as have we!) and I’m sure he will be keen to say hi whenever he swings by dropping off or picking up his brother. Kindercare provided such a supportive, collaborative environment to help him thrive during transitions and periods of change, as well as build his language and understanding of his body and mind as we navigate the world with his potential neurodiverse diagnosis. The extra meetings with kaiako to build individualised plans and strategies to use at daycare and carry over to home as well were such a huge help for us to build confidence and resilience as a family while we figured out what worked best to support him. Kaiako listened and made us feel heard and valued when things were tough and celebrated with us when things went well. You have given our son the space to grow in his own unique way. We’re so very proud of our big man heading off to school and everything he has achieved socially, emotionally, physically and academically at Kindercare. You’ve been a home for him to grow and learn, and for that we will be forever grateful.”

“We were glad that we placed our son in Little Wonders' care. The environment is friendly, professional and educational. The teachers and staff are so caring, loving, genuine, down to earth, and trust worthy. Children play outside in the nice big backyard with lots of things to play on. There's just a wide variety of play and learn going on. My son loved Little Wonders, too bad we had to move to Auckland. I highly recommend Little Wonders to anyone needing childcare for their children. Thank you so much to Kuku and Paua room teachers especially to his key teachers, Chrishanti and Juliet. “Wonderful little centre with caring kaitaki looking after the tamariki, our two children attended over a 2.5 year period and were very loved and nurtured through their early learning journeys, they both built amazing relationships with their kaitiaki. Lots of excursions out of the centre, outdoor play and community events. Would absolutely recommend.”

“I’ve sent both my girls to Busby over the last 2 years and it’s been the best decision for our family. Not only do our girls absolutely love the staff, us as parents, have also formed an amazing bond with the teachers. We really couldn’t ask for a better daycare. Alexia and Allie have been so easy to deal with and they create such engaging activities for the kids. Both my girls have learnt so much and absolutely love going. It’s very comforting to know the girls are always in good hands. I can’t thank all the staff enough.”

“Both of our boys attended Stepping Stones and they were always keen to go. I was always confident that they were safe and happy there. What I found most impressive about the teaching team is that they are continuously improving. They frequently seek feedback and try new ways of approaching communication with parents, and engaging the children. Their backyard area is a great example of frequent innovation to cater to the children's different interests and their short attention spans! I really enjoyed an evening event that a few of the teachers held for parents of the older children. The teachers introduced themselves and talked to us about their approach to planning and executing lessons with the children. And they let us try out some of the exercises - it was good fun and a great way to understand how the learning objectives connect with play. There are also great additional activities available to the children such as Playball, Yoga and Dance - which both of my children have really enjoyed. I thoroughly recommend Stepping Stones.”

“An good organisation caring the Southern District Kids' health. The premise is well stand alone with same of car parks plus convenient transportation in terms of bus and railway that can access to many surrounding location.”

“I couldn’t speak more highly of this centre. There is absolutely no other centre quite like this one and you are quick to realise this upon spending welcomed time there. The kids here get the opportunity to go on bus rides, make trips to the local super market to purchase foods to complement the food they have grown, learnt and hand picked in their own garden, they go on bike rides, learn about things that are important and current to our world, the list goes on and on. My daughters development is growing at a rapid rate and I honestly wish I could take all the credit for it but I know the large majority stems from P2. The teachers all know how to care, extend, and most importantly understand what works best for her. I believe that her needs would get lost in a bigger centre so it’s nice that numbers are kept low here. P2 is not just an early childhood centre, it’s a family where everyone is accepted and embraced, family’s are connected together, relationships are built and successes are celebrated. When our time here is up, we will walk away with some life long friends and connections. I am so thankful that my daughter gets to experience care like this. Again, I could not recommend this centre any more.”

“We’ve absolutely loved our time at Millie's House. The Kaiako (teachers) are so supportive and caring, and the environment is great, lots for the kids to do. Our son has thrived here. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend it to other families!”

“My boy was at ActiveExplorers from 6 months old to 2 years. We moved out west so had to transfer but it is a lovely daycare with wonderful staff, warm and welcoming teachers. We liked their kaupapa and instilling tikanga in our tāmariki, with regular catch up events for parents and teachers that includes nibbles. They are connected to the community and have plenty for the kids to do, including guests who come in including emergency services or song and dance. All the children there are lovely and you can see they are all happy. It’s a lovely place and though it’s on the pricier side of daycares, you will feel safe and comfortable with your child there. Edit: I forgot to add that we were very impressed with the hygiene and cleanliness. You can see they put so much effort into ensuring ailments don’t spread as much as can be controlled. They have a high level of care that goes into ensuring the children’s health and wellbeing.”
